On studio they may sound great, but live the sucked. I saw them open for EPICA on 2007 I think and didn't liked it a bit. The girl is pretty, if that counts, but the girl from epica has no competition

the thing is that this girl sings in different styles, and on studio she obviously used some help to make it sound good, but live sounded a mess

Yes, I can clearly hear the layers on the first record and sometimes on the second too like on Waiting Out The Winter and The Tempest.

Power metal anyone?

Pythia are a UK based female fronted power metal band with gothic and celtic influences. Fronted by vocalist Emily Ovenden from Cornwall (also of Celtic Legend and Mediaeval Baebes). The band was founded by drummer Marc and Emily in 2006. They have currently released one EP and one full length album both this year.

No. I forgot to include REPUBLICAN. But that goes without saying. God loves us most. That's why this country is great. But I guess this thread tells us occasionally women can do more than cook, clean, and support the troops. I'm still out on that extra $0.75, though.

I think my favorite female in the metal world will always be Doro, she is a real class act. Then comes Hellion's Ann Boleyn.

She has a great voice but nothing from Hellion has ever done anything for me..think she does real estate stuff now also..

Maybe Hellion is not to everyone's taste, but I like the tough girl type like Joan jett or Pat Benetar

Did you check out some stuff on the first couple of pages? Crystal Viper, Chastain, Dark Moor, White Skull, etc. Great stuff with that rougher edge. But not really as, you know, in your face rock in the way Pat is.

haven't checked em' out yet, I will get to it

dark moor gates of oblivion is an album to check out. My friend Elohym from this forum gave me that album some years ago. It's really good
