| Manny I'm already a huge Queen fan, just not with Rogers. No one can replace the late great Freddie. He was one of the best voices in rock history. | |

I was just kidding, but don't be surprised Queen if they give this kid a chance at the brass ring.

I mean it's been almost 20 years since they had a successful album. I suppose a Queen karaoke tour starring Adam Lambert would be just the thing for America's quality-entertainment-starved public. |

As a touring act, Queen + Paul Rodgers did very good business, and their back catalog does very well, but as you pointed out their 'Cosmos Rocks' was a commerical dud. So who knows.

| So anyway, now that "Idol" is over, we can turn our attention to the next reality show, "So You Think You Can Dance," which I personally think is superior to "Idol," for one very big reason... EYE CANDY. Man, the girls they get on that show are SMOKIN'!!! _________________ "If you're a false, don't entry, because you'll be burned and died!"

- OK, I'm back. I had to go watch that bit. Adam sang a few bars of "Beth" and then KISS came out onstage and jammed a medley of "Detroit Rock City" and "Rock N Roll All Nite" with him. I gotta admit, that was pretty freakin' cool. My wife was hollering at me from the living room, "KEITH, GET IN HERE! YOUR BOYS ARE ON!" hahaha
LMAO!!!! I amd proud to say I have NEVER watched American Idol other than the KISS clip on you tube. This Adam guy sounded good on parts that he sang, but on other parts he needed to grow some balls!!!! There we no "Paul is Ghey" rumors when he was on stage with KISS!!!

He's clearly the more talented one, and that's why I'm glad he didn't win.

| I hope Lambert doesnt take this job. I want to hear what he does on his own. Although I would love to see him perform a few songs with Queen. | |

| Queen have not officially offered him the job, but if they did and he doesn't take it then he is a fool, we are talking about Queen an international success rock act. | |

No, they haven't. At this point they're merely "pondering" Adam as a possibility. "Pinky, are you pondering what I'm pondering?" "I think so Brain... but wherever will we get 500 gallons of non-dairy whipped topping on such short notice?" _________________ "If you're a false, don't entry, because you'll be burned and died!"

I don't know about that, we donot know what Adam Lambert brings to the table as far as songwriting ability, where Paul Rodgers has a recording and performing career that is its 40th year.

I think he means vocally. As far as him being a fool, I really don't feel that way. Either way whatever he does he is going to have some success early on. With Queen he is pretty much a fill in, where is the job security?

In the music industry there is no such thing as job security, but Adam is an American sensation (at least at the moment) if Queen offered him the job and he takes it, he would get an instant international recognition and the press would have a field day that the legendary Queen choose an American Idol contestant as their new vocalist, that being said I think that kid will have a long career of him either way, if he gets good management that is.

| Well I feel you can last longer in the music industry if you have a band then being a fill in vocalist for a legendary band such as Queen. | |

He could get more recognition with Queen, and people may respect him more. He may rub off those American Idol years.
