Schaffer has been on a roll lately! Seriously, this reminds me of Dark Saga meets Horror Show (two of my favorite IE albums and all time favorite metal albums)

Solid tune. The main riff is a bit different for Jon, which is cool.

My intro to the band was Burnt Offerings. I still love it as well as TDS, SWTWC & HS. I like the Ripper albums for what they are, but they got a little too orchestrated and "epic" for me. Even Barlow's return album didn't hit me very hard (I preferred his Pyramaze album from around the same time).
But Dystopia really impressed me. Stu does a great job and the songs are just so aggressive. I'm sure my son will grab PoB the day it's released in whatever special edition form he can find and I'll absolutely check it out.

BO was my intro to the band as well, then Horror Show, and I fell in love with them. I like the Ripper stuff but Matt's voice just gives me the chills. I don't have that kind of reaction with Ripper. Dystopia is a monster of an album, just beefy and heavy as hell, and I think Stu was a good choice for the band.
Speaking of Matt, I've thoroughly enjoyed Ashes of Ares, and plan on making it my next purchase.

Listened to the sample and liked it enough to go buy up everything from The Dark Saga onward. Don't know what I think of them. I like the proggy/thrashiness of The Dark Saga but everything else feels very hit and miss. Just seems like really progressive, Iron Maiden-ish heavy metal with nothing really special to set it apart.

The first 3 were the best imo. Burnt Offerings was my favorite.

I definitely plan on picking this up. I'm a pretty big IE fan overall, with The Dark Saga being by far my favorite (though the Glorious Burden is close). I liked Dystopia quite a bit and think Stu fits the band really well.

Man, this is kind of different for the band. The mix sounds weaker than the previous song released. Hope it's just the YouTube version. Either way, I really like this, but it doesn't sound like an Iced Earth song to me. Not a bad thing, of course, but not what I expected.
