Depending on how much money I get for Christmas, I might save some up and go see the House Of Blues show in Dallas. I'd love to see Flots and Overkill for the first time and see Testament for a third time.

I've never seen any of those bands live before, so the Philly show could be of interest to me. Of course I say that now, and then I'll forget about it.

try ALZip or 7Zip. both amazing freeware progs.

I had it on yesterday, and I dug it. There are a number of great songs, a few I didn't care for much, but I was in the other room making dinner so I don't know what the titles were off hand.

Sounded like a solid album, though.

Yea I skimmed through it on my way to get dinner last night. It sounds a little like "cuatro" with the groovy guitars. The only song I listened to mostly all the way through was pay to play or something like that I don't have the song list in front of me. I liked that one a lot. From what I could tell its a pretty good album. Just funny how their last album was a little trashy now it's back to the more groovy stuff.

I wonder if the CD version will be picked up by a label at some point.

What is the song co-written by Jason Newsted?

I listened to the whole thing today a few times and I take back what I say about it sounding like cuatro. It's more of a mix between drift and high but with somewhat better songs. Oh and the song I really like is called play the part. So the album is pretty decent nothing mind blowing or new that they haven't done before.

Gave it a listen at the gym this morning. Sounded pretty good to me. I'll need to give it a few more listens.

My copy showed up today. Haven't listened yet but I must say the packaging is disappointing. One of the those really thin digipacks and no liner notes.
