Well I "ilegally" snagged all of their records but still didn´t have the chance to hear anyone except Doomsday for the Deceiver which is great. It seems like the latter stuff sounds somewhat similar to Anthrax in the State of Euphoria / Persistence of Time melodiic speed thrash era.
All their stuff is excellent. Their latter material (the cold, dreams of death), to me, has more of a "Nevermore" vibe to it. Absolutely LOVE "Ugly Noise" which went back to "drift" and "cuatro". Great band to see live.
Thanks for being part of the declining record sales and bands breaking up because of financial problems. Come back when you "legally" obtain the albums.
The first two are the only ones you need to listen to.
Personally, I enjoyed "The Cold" quite a bit, but you may need to keep your anti-depressants handy.
I love the more melodic power-thrash stuff you know, everything I heard from Flots ( not the only first 2 ) I liked. of course they are extremely underrated.

That's just my own "humble" opinion.

They are a good band. I see their old drummer Craig around town quite a bit. Very cool guy

I concur. I've listened to almost every album after "No Place For Disgrace" and none of it intrigued me.

Love their first two and even like When the Storm Comes Down, which doesn't seem the get much love at times. They began to lose me after all the line up changes and haven't bought anything passed their fourth record.

The first two albums are good, like everyone has already said. They are not perfect by any means, but there are songs that I consider as classics.
After that, I really can't get much into them, except for The Cold. I am still amazed how they suddenly managed to record a phenomenal album. One of my favorite albums ever.
Eric has never sounded as good as he sounds in this album. Just listen to the chorus on that song... And the musicianship is top notch all around.
That's a BLEAK album. Very depressing, and I love it!

They're one of my favorite bands. The only album I don't like much is Unnatural Selection. (because the production is awful)

Cuatro and Drift are underrated IMO.

Back in 1992 when Cuatro was released they received a very bad review from a Magazine here ( Rock Brigade ) but we must always know that opinions on music are always "opinions". everything I heard from Flots sound fantastic to me.

Flots is a fantastic band and hasn't put out a dud yet. Some are better quality than others but that's every band that's been around for a long time.
They're very similar to Annihilator, as far as consistency's concerned. They'll release something great (Waking the Fury/The Cold) and follow it up with something unusually horrendous (All for You/Ugly Noise.)
