They sound great with Kelly. I'm sure he sounds 100% better than Lou does right now.

| I'm really sorry to see no love for "Lightning Stikes Again", I happen to like every song on it except "Disease". No it's not their best, but it's lightyears ahead of "Shadowlife"! I personally like it better than "Hell To Pay". Oh and for the record, Dokken's "Santa Claus Is Coming To Town" is gotta be the best Christmas song I've ever heard!!!!!! | |

I think it's great. I, too, would like to express my fondness for that particular title. _________________ "If you're a false, don't entry, because you'll be burned and died!"

I suppose nothing was said real bad, it was just the nobody really saying much anything part that I noticed. The album is only about a year old, and it seems it has already been forgotten.

| I never knew that Dokken was on "American Bandstand". How did I not know that? Did anyone catch this live back in good old 1985? I used to watch Bandstand from time to time, but somehow this performance was lost in the pantheon of American Bandstand performances. I loved Don's outfit. He looks like a fruity Han Solo.

| Sorry if I missed this somewhere, but has Dokken's older albums been remastered at any time? I'm thinking of picking up some of those....I don't have any Dokken....and didn't want to miss out on a better sounding disc. | |

No, none have been remastered. |

| Any plans too? I can't help but wonder cuz Amazon and Best Buy's websites both have their older albums for something like $6.00 each. | |

Don Dokken had mentioned that he wanted to re-release Breaking The Chains, but nothing has been set in stone. |

| I don't think they will remaster and release them individually...they remastered the songs on The Best Of Dokken and I was told by someone in the (now failing) CD store business that when the record companies release remastered best-of's, that usually means they don't plan on doing the albums individually...especially if it's a 2CD remastered anthology, like Dio...if the remastered anthology CD's make it out before remastered individual albums, then there are likely no plans... |

The Definitve Collection (2 cd set) is also remastered.

The Definitve Collection (2 cd set) is also remastered. I was thinking they had a 2CD collection...then yeah, don't look for all of thier individual albums to get the remaster/reissue treatment. |

| I've thought about getting The Definitive Collection, but I've held off, because I was hoping the band would release their first four albums. The fact that all Dokken's albums were released under one record company (Elektra), one would think it wouldn't be difficult to get done. | |

Well, those 4 were on Elektra...but they've also been on CMC International, Sanctuary Music and, I believe, Rhino...I don't know if 'Dysfunctional' was on Elektra or not... |
