| I like Danzig in pretty much everything he's done. His albums as Danzig while I like them alot would probably come in behind SAMHAIN and MISFITS though. The only Danzig album I actually never bothered to pick up was Blackaciddevil, but Satan's Child up to Circle Of Snakes have been excellent. Out of it all, Id probably pick SAMHAIN as my favorite, but I suppose Id be the minority there. | |

| I think Blackaciddevil is a lot better than most people say. I quite enjoyed it. |

| Danzig's first four albums are classic, I like the fact that Danzig was so different than the Misfits, also like the fact that he wasn't afaird to show a bit of his blues influence on songs such as " She Rides" and the music (at least when John Christ was in the band) had a bit of swing. Danzig embraced is inner Black Sabbath meets Elvis Presley before he decided he would rather become Nine Inch Danzig with blackacidevil, of course I am being unfair since I have not listened to blackacidangel since it was released. Still as it has been stated many times on this thread first four albums classic | |

| I've had How The Gods Kill for a while now and I love it just as much as I did when I first got it (seems like ages ago-around 16 years ago). Forgot how much of a bad a** guitar player John Christ is-one of the best IMO. | |

Piss off, Blackacid was awesome! You are incorrect sir. There was nothing "awesome" about that album.

My father went to a dentist named Dr. Danzig. Don't know if there's a relation, but being in fairly close proximity to Jersey, I guess it's not out of the question. I just imagine that little fidget in a white coat telling my dad "Brush after every meal, floss your teeth and if you wanna find hell with me I can show you what it's like". _________________ I used to be with it, but then they changed what "it" was. | I like them, especially the first 3. Black Aria II is a bit different. I didn't know what I was getting when I bought that one but it is still kind of cool. The cover art rocks!!

Doubt it, Danzig's original last name isnt even close to Danzig.

| Speaking of Danzig, I just listened to How The Gods Kill. What an awesome album that is. Dark, doomy and melodic-a great combination. Sistinas is an awesome ballad and my favorite song has to be Dirty Black Summer. | |

Doubt it, Danzig's original last name isnt even close to Danzig. I was going to mention that. I used to work with a woman who was married to someone in his family (a cousin, I believe) and she told me his real last name but now I can't remember it for the life of me. "Danzig" is a stage name. She did say that Glenn occasionally came back to NJ for family gatherings and she'd try to get an autograph for me next time she saw him, but then I started working for a different department and we lost contact. Oh well... _________________ "If you're a false, don't entry, because you'll be burned and died!"

Yup, that's it! Now I remember, "Anzalone" was the last name of the lady I worked with too. _________________ "If you're a false, don't entry, because you'll be burned and died!"

| On a sort-of Danzig-related note, I'm listening to SACRIFICIUM by Christian rocker Randy Rose (of Mad At The World fame) right now, and damn, this disc is so totally ripped off from the first Danzig album that Glenn shoulda sued his ass for plagiarism. Still a cool album though. _________________ "If you're a false, don't entry, because you'll be burned and died!"

Still a cool album though. I have to hear that. I can't find any samples online though. Does he sing like Danzig? |

The similarities are ridiculous. His second album (done under the band name "Rose") isn't quite as blatant but the Danzig comparisons are still there. That one sounds kinda like Glenn Danzig singing for Trouble and the Cult. _________________ "If you're a false, don't entry, because you'll be burned and died!"
