| This CD comes out tomorrow doesn't it? Hmmm, the only place I'm going to be anywhere near tomorrow that sells CDs is probably gonna be Wal-Mart. What do ya think the odds are that Wal-Mart would stock this one??
.....
Yeah, that's what I figured. Never mind. Guess I'll have to wait till the weekend or sometime thereafter. _________________ "If you're a false, don't entry, because you'll be burned and died!"

Yeah, that's what I figured. Never mind. Guess I'll have to wait till the weekend or sometime thereafter. Maybe not on the release day but maybe in the future. If they had Iced Earth-Framing Armegeddon, Halford-Metal God Essentials Pt. 1, and Dream Theater-Systematic Chaos then I wouldn't discount anything. I for one will check and see if Best Buy has it.

Yea, I got IE's "Framing Armageddon" at Wal-Mart last Fall, that was a pleasant surprise to find something so "specialized" in their CD department. Just for giggles I looked up the new Testament on Walmart.com and it sez it is NOT being sold in stores but I can order it from the web site. Oh well. It would've been nice to come across that disc while I was in the store tomorrow. _________________ "If you're a false, don't entry, because you'll be burned and died!"

They didn't have it in at the Best Buy near my work either, however according to their website I should be able to pick it up at the store near home. I'm pretty sure it's just the standard release as well, no fancy digi-pack or dvd.

| The album is good, of course. But it doesn't sit as well with me as I had thought. No instant classics, if you no what I mean. But all of the songs are solid in their own right. _________________ | |

Sadly, this is usually all to true. Unfortunatley, it's really the only place left I go to (occasionally Target. Or Wal-Mart if I'm really desperate) for music when I want to get it right now. Usually, I'm pretty patient and will wait and order on-line, but I want this Testament NOW!

Plenty, but they're WAAAAAYYYYYYY overpriced. I never buy anything there, with the exception of used stuff. Most of their cd's are $17.99 and up. Even if it's a new release on sale, it's usually $3 or $4 bucks higher than Best Buy. That may not seem like much to some, but I'm a cheap b*stard.

| FYE bites. Even their "sale" prices suck. I'm surprised they're still in business.
Dunno if this is a common occurrence at other FYE stores, by the way, but I dont' even have the patience to look thru the used CDs at the one near me cuz they're all just lumped in a big bin in no order whatsoever. Who's got time to root thru hundreds and hundreds of CDs that aren't even alphabetized, for cryin' out loud?? _________________ "If you're a false, don't entry, because you'll be burned and died!"
