Yes playing in a band when i was younger helped me a lot.

What i do to practice now is, come up with a melody or riff in my head them interpret it to the guitar..

I pansied out on us all and did an acoustic piece;

Overdub. My computer's a bit odd at the moment so I think the overdubs may be like a milisecond out of time.

Whats everyones fav chord?

Mine is probably E5 its so heavy...

I've found in my 10 months that I've gravited to the E regular chords and the E power chords. Probably for the reason you mentioned.

the G power chord i dunno why but I use it all the time its just so classic

The last week all the sudden my Kramer amp sounds all muddy. Nothing has changed setting wise as far as I can tell. Any thoughts??

It's a K-15R practice amp.

A couple questions. Is it a tube amp? Is it near a clothes dryer?

While playing? No - at least not within 10 feet and at work it's not within 200 yards.....

"sigh"......

back to practice some more. Now it's just making a sort of distorted and amplified "droning" sound.

I'm sure there's a market for this sound, but I'm not interested in making it!!!

My only guess it the wireing is becoming undone either that or the speaker's been damaged.

Oh well maybe that means you have to go out and buy a brand new amp what a shame

Sounds good man, but the vocals definitely need to be higher in the mix.

What's is everyones worse chord to fret this meaning you have the hardest time with...

F is a bit of an awkward chord, especially if I have to change to it quickly. But other than that, I don't know. Quite a random question, haha.

Before I read Smindas' post I thought "F"......it's awkward, but it's coming. Been practicing a CCR song to force the issue...

F is one of my hated chords especially barring the 1st fret

just ordered a new Epiphone Thinderbird bass with alll the money i got for my birthday
