Nope, I don't think I ever saw that one.

"Devil's Knot" (2014)
Crime melodrama based on the "West Memphis Three" saga, in which three Arkansas teens were accused and convicted of killing three young kids, in spite of a near-total lack of evidence aside from the fact that they liked to wear black and listened to heavy metal. Strong performances all around, including Reese Witherspoon as the mother of one of the murdered kids and Colin Firth as an investigator for the defense. Not a must-see but a decent time waster on a snowy evening.

A parasitic alien with the ability to "jump" from one human host body to another is loose on a crime and murder spree in L.A., with a cop and an FBI agent in hot pursuit. This action packed mix of sci-fi and shoot-em-up is still entertaining as hell after all these years.

Finished Krampus today. It definitely picks up in the final 30 minutes but I didn't like the ending at all, oldest ending in the book.

I always thought They Live was pretty cool. The Hot Rod is excellent in it.

They Live is awesome. The Wraith hasn't held up at all. It's still a cool time capsule back to 1986 though and it has a good soundtrack.

It also contains one of the best quotes from 80's flicks:

Don't Be Afraid Of The Dark (2010)
Remake of a 1973 TV movie (which is what I was searching for but couldn't find), this decent little flick written by Benicio Del Toro is about a young girl who unleashes nasty little demonic creatures from a baesment ash pit in the basement of a mansion under renovation. Overall not too bad of a film.

"Home Alone 2: Lost In New York" (1992)
Little Kevin's on his own again, after an airport mixup puts him on a plane to New York while the rest of his inept family heads to Florida for the holidays. After soaking up the delights of the Christmas season in New York for a while, Kevin runs into his old friends Harry and Marv, who've escaped from jail and are planning a holiday heist... with a side of revenge! ...so yeah, in other words this is a complete retread of the previous film, just set in a different city, but the formula still works. My 9 year old laughed all the way through it and I got a few chuckles out of it too.

Brides Of Dracula (1960)
A typical Hammer vampire movie starring the great Peter Cushing as Van Helsing. Unfortunately no Christopher Lee, therefore, no Dracula (what's up with that title?). The main vampire in this one is named Meinster played by David Peel. Still if you enjoy Hammer films, you'll enjoy this one.

"Christmas With The Andersons" (2016)
A high powered lawyer loses his job right before Christmas, and the resulting financial crunch puts his family's massive annual holiday party for the whole town in jeopardy. Fortunately his wacky old Aunt Katie (Julie "Trapped In The Body of a White Girl" Brown - remember when she used to be hot?) and some friends pull together to help them put on a kick butt low budget holiday bash and in the process Spoiled Rich Guy learns that Christmas is about more than who's got the biggest/fanciest/most expensive stuff. ...as you might have guessed, this is yet another cookie-cutter feel good made-for-TV family holiday comedy, which piles on the schmaltz by the bucketful. Cable TV is littered with dozens of flicks just like it all December long. "Andersons" was a mildly entertaining bit o'fluff, but by this time next year I'll have forgotten it entirely.

Yes, "not the mama!". The dad (Earl Sinclair) works for a tree clearing company as a tree pusher.
Loved the show as a kid and still do it seems. I really like the episode where there's a law that states a man must throw his mother in-law into the tar pits when they reach 72 years of age.

That makes sense. His name is "Sinclair"; I'm sure that's why I remember him working for an oil company.
I just looked it up. That show aired from 1991-1994. I would have sworn it was about 10 years earlier than that given my lack of memory about it.
