Been to it many times. Saw RATT at M3 a few years back...... They went on right after the 2nd to last Queesryche show with the Vest. I guess Blotzer thought he could do what Tate couldn't lol....

I wouldn't mind hearing the new material that they might somehow come up with.
Maybe they will write a tribute sing to Robin. Quiet Riot did for Randy. Superb song.

Just heard 2 tracks from Stephen Pearcy's upcoming solo album..It sounds like Ratt to me..i will most likely get this album..

"I Can't Take It" sounds almost exactly like something from the last Ratt album.

Insisting that his current band is still called RATT because "there is nothing else to call it," Blotzer said that he "made the decision as half owner of the [RATT] name" to start playing live shows as RATT without any other members of the band's classic lineup. He explained: "WBS owns the name. I'm 50% of WBS, Inc. and still am. WBS, Inc. still owns that name right this moment. That's not changed.

"We've had tremendous, great success with this band out here," Blotzer said, referring to his current version of RATT. "I mean, we're headlining big gigs. It's doing really well. I'm very proud of that. So I think [Warren, Juan and Stephen] seeing this kind of success, now all of a sudden, from not liking each other or talking, [they're now in] collusion together and they decide that they're gonna do this at this point, and there you have it. They're making their move, and they don't have the name RATT."

Blotzer apparently still has control of the "official" Ratt FB page, which continues to be a cavalcade of unintentional comedy, as he keeps posting defiant brain farts like this one from today, an apparent response to the "other" Ratt's gig this past weekend:

Blotzer is an idiot. He can't admit it's over. He needs to either join another established band or fade away. He burned his last bridge...

Thanks to this hilarious ordeal sparked by Blotzer's brief ego run, the real Ratt lineup looks rejuvenated and actually happy to be out there together again. The opening night setlist was kind of lame (why did they cut "Slip of the Lip"?) but I'm looking forward to seeing this lineup at M3.

As long as they try to recapture the sound they had on the first two albums, especially songs like Lay It Down, then I'm very interested in the return of classic RATT. I really like the first song on the last album. It reminded me of Judas Priest!

Funny how Blotzer referred to Pearcy as the "Crypt Keeper" while he looks like Mr Potato Head or a creature from Sid and Marty Croft.

Can any of the over 50 singers do it without studio help?
