| Coming soon to a bowling alley or Chuck E. Cheese near you.... Bobby Blotzer has borrowed a page from Frankie Banali's book...he will be touring behind a band of no-names calling itself THE RATT EXPERIENCE. (At least they're not calling it straight-up RATT like Frankie is doing with the Quiet Riot name.) They'll be performing the Invasion Of Your Privacy record in its entirety to celebrate its 30th (!) anniversary and apparently there will be V.I.P. packages available (woo!) for those who want the added privilege of hangin' with Tha Mighty Blotz. ...needless to say, the Blabbermouth comments under this piece were absolutely priceless. The jokes practically write themselves! - Blabbermouth wrote:
- As a member of the legendary rock band RATT, Bobby Blotzer has headlined arenas all over the world, selling over 20 million records worldwide.
In 2015, the acclaimed drummer affectionately known as "The Blotz" plans to introduce the world to his own one-of-a-kind RATT EXPERIENCE live show.
While the members of RATT are currently on hiatus, Blotzer has assembled a group of world-class musicians that will perform not only the RATT hits fans have come to expect, but also several deep album cuts, including many songs that have never been performed live.
Blotzer's RATT EXPERIENCE is rounded out by Josh Alan (SIN CITY SINNERS), Scotty Griffin (ex-L.A. GUNS), Doc Ellis (Jizzy Pearl's LOVE/HATE) and 21-year-old guitar hero Blaze.
Each RATT EXPERIENCE show will include (depending on venue and time slot)
* A performance of RATT's "Invasion Of Your Privacy" album in its entirety to commemorate the record's 30th anniversary
* A never-before-seen video history introduction
* A tribute to late RATT guitarist Robbin "King" Crosby
* Over 20 songs, including some that have never been played live before
* Exclusive VIP meet-and-greet packages and opportunities to hang out with The Blotz!
For more information, visit Facebook.com/TheRattExperience.
Wrote Griffin in a post on his Facebook page: "The RATT EXPERIENCE featuring Bobby Blotzer will be exactly what it sounds like. A night of all RATT songs, featuring rare songs never performed live by RATT as well as the hits everybody knows and loves. Focusing mainly on their first five consecutive platinum and multi-platinum albums, this will be a summer tour you don't want to miss. We are even thinking about possibly celebrating the 30th anniversary of the double-platinum album 'Invasion Of Your Privacy' by playing it in its entirety. Whatever we decide to do, we promise it to be more than just an ordinary show of playing the same old songs. Bobby wants this to be an extra-special RATT EXPERIENCE that will take you through the illustrious career of this great band that he has been 100% a part of since its very inception."
He continued: "Along with myself, the band features my fellow SIN CITY SINNERS: Doc Ellis on guitar and Joshua Alan on vocals. Also joining us will be 21-year-old guitar sensation and local Las Vegan Blaze (recently with Brad Paisley) who joined us onstage when Blotzer was our special guest a few weeks ago at Vamp'd. That was the night where this whole idea sprang from. Bobby had been looking for a band to put together while RATT are on indefinite hold, and it was obvious the SINNERS were that band!" _________________ "If you're a false, don't entry, because you'll be burned and died!"

| Would the actual RATT be able to fill a phone box these days? Never mind a cheap copy. | |

| Sorry, I'm saving up my money for The Stephan Pearcy Mickey Ratt Experience. _________________ I used to be with it, but then they changed what "it" was. Now what I'm with isn't it, and what's it seems weird and scary to me, and it'll happen to you, too.

| This guy just milks the Ratt name to death. It's over... retire or start a new band. | |

| The only thing the Sunset Strip bands of the 80s are good for now is unintentional comedy. |

| If Bobby Blotzer gets anyway to pay for this besides his mother, then that will be amazing. | |

His mother would demand to be on the guest list!! _________________ "If you're a false, don't entry, because you'll be burned and died!"

His mother is the bassist! Nah, I have it on good authority that even Mrs. Blotz wouldn't go near this train wreck. She took an offer from Geoff Tate's Operation Mindcrime instead.... _________________ "If you're a false, don't entry, because you'll be burned and died!"

| Hard to blame him.
No one is going to start a new band at 50 in 2015 with any degree of commercial success.
Look at Rex and Vinnie Appice's band. They pretty much admitted it is not making any money.
These guys wanna play music for a living because it is what they've always done.
Look at what Ripper Owens is doing. 4 different cover bands.

What he said. I saw Jimmy Crespo (formerly of Aerosmith & Flame) performing in a cover band in Las Vegas. _________________ ULTIMATUM - TOO METAL FOR WIKIPEDIA!

| If this band came to town at a reasonable price I would go check it out...I love tribute bands... In my part of the world and across the Midwest I have seen cover/tribute bands draw as many as 2000 people to shows before...some of them are actually better than the original band... | |

| There are bowling alleys all over the country, I'm sure they can squeeze in Bobby's stage show between the air hockey tables and the change machine.

| Right now, I wish I still owned my old Hit Parader and Circus magazines.. there was a colour RATT group photo page, and Blotzer had like what looked like must have been 20 tube socks rolled up inside of each other, where his groin was,...
I never really thought about it when I was a teenager... many years later when I had Spinal Tap The Movie on dvd, and the "armadillo in the pants" scene came up, I remembered Blotzer and that photo, what a jerkopff move that was by him, lol. | |
