Interstellar - excellent film. Went to see it at the Air and Space Dulles IMAX (70MM film), it looked great on the giant screen.

A very quotable classic if you ask me !

Rams vs Broncos.
Holy crap, if you'd have told me the Rams would have victories over San Fran, Seattle and Denver at this point in the season, I'd have guaranteed you we were in the hunt for a playoff berth. Man, the defense can look so good one game and so awful the next.

Family Guy.
The best gag in tonight's episode had a TV show on Nickelodeon, and a freeze frame with a voice-over saying, "Nickelodeon; casually ask your daughter what that girl's name is, then take your laptop into the bathroom."

I must be the only person on here who hates the glut of super hero movies (particularly the Marvel ones) so it's a bit of a surprise that I'm loving Gotham. Stylish and well written, I'm really impressed so far.

I'm enjoying Gotham too. Unfortunately I'm constantly several episodes behind on it, I need to get caught up via On Demand.

I don't hate the glut of superhero movies; I hate superhero movies period. But then I never got into the Marvel comics either; the only comics I would buy were stuff like Tales From The Crypt.

In the past few days:
Theater - Interstellar. Nice to see a Hollywood studio picture that doesn't dumb itself down.
Amazon Instant Video - Dawn Of The Planet Of The Apes. Well-made, great effects.
Amazon Prime - Grimm, currently watching season 3.
Also watched the latest episodes of The Newsroom, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., The Good Wife, Sleepy Hollow.

So did you get to see Interstellar in 70? Dying to see this movie.

Yes, I saw it projected in 70mm at The Chinese Theatre in Hollywood. I went to the 11:30 show on Monday and coincidentally Matthew McConaughey was out front getting his star on the walk of fame at the same time. It was strange seeing him on the sidewalk...then seeing him 10 minutes later inside on the movie screen. A surreal experience that could only happen in Hollywood.

Nice I bet the format (and the venue!) was a great experience.
Very cool with McConaughey--like Purple Rose of Cairo in reverse!

Just got my Blu-ray director's cut of Clive Barker's "Night Breed" today. I'm really curious to see what this looks like because the jacket says over 40 minutes of new footage but the running time is only 20 minutes longer than the theatrical version so I assume some of the camera angles or scenes are slightly different. I've seen this movie dozens of times (I'm a Clive Barker fanboy) so it will be interesting to see if I can spot the subtle changes.

Been waiting ages for this to hit the market but I've heard that's it's still incomplete. I'm just hoping that it will be more coherent; Clive has constantly been on record about how the off-the-wall editing was nowhere near his choice. Let us know!

That's a cool story... the 70MM version (IMAX) was the one I saw too - it looked fantastic. The launch from Earth scene was fantastic on the giant screen!
