| "King Solomon's Mines" (1985) Richard Chamberlain stars as pulp-era adventurer Allan Quartermain in Cannon Films' lavish but goofy-as-hell "Indiana Jones" knockoff. There's no story to speak of, just one silly action sequence after another. Co-stars a then-unknown Sharon Stone as the damsel in distress. _________________ "If you're a false, don't entry, because you'll be burned and died!"

| "Asian Schoolgirls" (2014) a trio of teenyboppers turn scantily-clad vigilantes after they're Roofie'd and raped by a gang of human traffickers in this delightfully sleazy chop socky revenge saga from The Asylum. This flick has no redeeming social value, just lotsa ass kicking and gratuitous nudity. I was entertained, even if it was for all the wrong reasons. :l _________________ "If you're a false, don't entry, because you'll be burned and died!"

| "Zombie Lake" (1981) HOLY CRAP THIS IS THE WORST ZOMBIE MOVIE EVER...during WWII, French villagers kill a bunch of Nazis and stash the corpses in the lake. Years later they come back as green painted zombies looking for vengeance. EVERYTHING about this movie - the makeup, the acting, the story - is totally inept. The only thing this flick has going for it isa large amount of gratuitous female nudity. Otherwise, I think I may have suffered a traumatic brain injury just by watching this... _________________ "If you're a false, don't entry, because you'll be burned and died!"

It's been a long time since I saw this (rented it from the video store) but I loved the underwater scenes that were obviously shot in a swimming pool (you can see the walls iirc !)

| ^^ yea, you can tell the "swimming" scenes were shot in two different places cuz whenever someone goes into the lake the water appears to be ankle deep, yet when they cut to the underwater view it's maglcally up to their necks _________________ "If you're a false, don't entry, because you'll be burned and died!"

Can you believe there's actually a "remastered Blu-ray" edition of Zombie Lake? Why? _________________ "The cat is the most ruthless, most terrifying of animals." - Spock in the "Catspaw" episode of ToS Season 2.

| It might actually be a hoot to see in Blu-ray; all it's crappiness would be magnified. _________________ "The cat is the most ruthless, most terrifying of animals." - Spock in the "Catspaw" episode of ToS Season 2.

| "Allan Quatermain and the Lost City of Gold" (1987) Richard Chamberlain returns for another silly but watchable "Indiana Jones" knockoff. This time the adventurer sets off on safari to find his missing brother, who disappeared while on a quest for a long lost city. Not as slap-sticky as the first movie but the cheap special FX and badguy Henry Silva's Gene Simmons hairpiece provide some unintentional comedy. _________________ "If you're a false, don't entry, because you'll be burned and died!"

I will probably be taking my nephew to see that tomorrow. Had to postpone. My nephew was at his cousins house last night and they probably spent all day playing X-Box because he was too tired. To be honest, so was I. Maybe Wednesday, my mid-week day off. More shows on the ID channel

| "Man of Steel" (2013) Zack "300" Snyder's update of the Superman saga plays up the sci-fi element in Kal-El's mythos, in a technically well made but ultimately disappointing orgy of CGI mayhem. Better than 2006's "Superman Returns," but not by much. _________________ "If you're a false, don't entry, because you'll be burned and died!"
