| The netflix version. Very enjoyable popcorn flick. If you're into these kind of movies, I recommend the international/UK version known as Invasion Of Astro-Monster which pretty much retains the uncut Japanese version. Although the cuts are minimal, I always enjoy seeing the films as how they were intended to be (see the Classic Media releases for those). | |

| "Rubber" (2010) A sentient car tire named "Robert" rises from a junk yard and travels through the desert, stalking a hot French chick and making people's heads explode with its psychokinetic powers. This surrealist horror/comedy/performance art piece/spoof is, without a doubt, the most WTF movie I have seen in a VERY long time. _________________ "If you're a false, don't entry, because you'll be burned and died!"

| ^ I only watched it cuz my 11 year old thought the description on Netflix was "hilarious" and I figured I should probably pre-screen it to see if it would be OK for him to watch (by the way...it isn't). It's nowhere near as funny or clever as it seems to think it is. I felt like I was being trolled for 90 minutes. _________________ "If you're a false, don't entry, because you'll be burned and died!"

| I had a nice evening last night. We had hot plant issues (mixes all ingredients together for asphalt) and we got off early. I drove 25 miles to a town and watched "Guardians Of The Galaxy" in an old 1920's era movie theater. _________________ | |

I'm not really one for Z movies but I'm pretty sure that I have to see this! It's not a Z movie, it's more of a commentary on horror/monster cinema and film theory in general. It's not for everyone; if you like absurdist meta humor that not only breaks the fourth wall but is half about it, then it's for you. It's also very slow and and deliberate with very little dialogue. I loved it but I know many of my friends just can't engage with it. It's understandable. | |

| Twilight Zone - Season 2 disc 5.
Featuring the classic "Will The Real Martian Please Stand Up?". This is the episode referenced in the Rush song "Twilight Zone" from "2112"
"A pleasant-faced man steps up to greet you. He smiles and says he's pleased to meet you. Beneath his hat the strangeness lies. Take it off - he's got three eyes." _________________ "The cat is the most ruthless, most terrifying of animals." - Spock in the "Catspaw" episode of ToS Season 2.
