Got round to seeing The Wolf of Wall Street. I liked it, even though I really hated the main characters,(I found myself wanting Robert Di Niro & Joe Pesci to turn up and beat them all to death ) there were a few laugh out loud moments (the cerebral palsy phase!!) and overall it held my attention over the 3 hrs.

Resurrection. This show has issues. I'm really starting to lose interest, mostly because its just not throwing any punches as if the writers were just lazy. Main problems tonight:
-more stilted dialogue and shallow characters. -dry, dull direction. -major, implausible contrivance involving pastor's former love interest that practically derails his thread. -predictable.
I'm also disappointed how Omar Epps is given nothing to do but look worried and ask questions. Hoping they pick things up soon and also breathe some life into his character. Think I'm gonna check out the other series this weekend.

I've given up on it. Watch the french series The Returned instead, far superior in every conceivable way and available on Netflix for streaming.

I am. I'm gonna give this show one more episode. It's such a great premise that you'd think they handle it with more care. The Returned seems much more mature and suspenseful.

Finally watched the last episode of the Stargate SG-1 series. It took me about 9 months to watch the whole thing. Not sure if I'll watch the "special feature" discs or not. I still have the 2 post-TV series run movies to watch too.
I'm also debating getting the Stargate:Atlantis seriss. I couldn't really get into it when it was on TV but there were some references to it and characters from it in the later SG1 seasons that have made me interested in getting it.

I enjoyed Atlantis. I thought the concept was good and the show was good until they were not alone anymore.
I saw Captain America - The Winter Soldier today.

Noah ( )
Went with the family. Knew it wasn't going to be straight up Biblical, and was fine with that...however...
Spoiler:
This thing was absurd/bizarre/nonsense. Holy cow, Rock monsters? Ark stow-aways? Psycho Noah? Etc...
I'm going back to my Battlestar Galactica binge!

Captain America:The Winter Soldier - EXCELLENT film, worth seeing in the theater. Marvel's role continues.... Whoever is hiring directors for these films is doing a killer job, matching their abilities to the stories. As with most movies, will need time to see where it ranks in the current MCU but it easily ranks as one of the top stand-alone films. They did well taking the headlines and making a movie that is pretty damning of the current administration's kill lists, drones, spying on Americans, etc. I don't foresee this flick being shown in the White House theater anytime prior to Jan 20, 2017.....
As advertised, this film totally changes the direction of Agents of Shield....

I'm really stoked to see this. I've read quite a few reviews of this stating it's the best Marvel movie to date. I want to catch this at the drive-in but the weather hasn't been to cooperative this weekend.

Stargate SG-1 - The Ark Of Truth
Hopefully this made-for-TV movie will tie up the Ori storyline. So far it is.

UConn vs Floriday in the Final Four.
No way did I think the Huskies would win this one but they did and even though my brackets are now officially toast, I'm happy (I lived in CT for 3 years).
