lol I gave up. Just switched off my brain and enjoyed the visual chaos. It would be a perfect movie to get baked to.

| "Machete Kills". Immediately regretted not being able to see it in the theater. Great movie. Oh Michelle.
I was actually upset JDATE was not more messed up than it was but there you have my mindset.

I was actually upset JDATE was not more messed up than it was but there you have my mindset. I think JDATE could have been about an hour longer than it was because there was so much to work with. It wasn't going to be "a hit" anyway so I can only assume budget constraints forced Coscarelli to cut it short. _________________ "The cat is the most ruthless, most terrifying of animals." - Spock in the "Catspaw" episode of ToS Season 2.

| "My Amityville Horror" (2012)
A fairly dry documentary about Daniel Lutz, the now grown son of George and Kathy Lutz of "Amityville Horror" fame, who opens up for the first time about how the "Horror" experience continues to affect his life.
Long story short... it screwed him up big time. There, I just saved you 90 minutes.
Whether you feel the "Amityville" saga was fact or a hoax isn't even the issue, Daniel simply comes off as an obnoxious, unlikeable douche so it's kind of hard to feel any empathy for him after a while. _________________ "If you're a false, don't entry, because you'll be burned and died!"

My wife was watching that a while back so I only caught glimpses, but yeah he comes off as one twisted, pathetic individual. Gotta love how he threatened the director at one point over something so frivolous.

Pretty boring gore flick with a really wooden lead actress. _________________ "The cat is the most ruthless, most terrifying of animals." - Spock in the "Catspaw" episode of ToS Season 2.

Total self-important jerk. I question if he really is messed up or just plays it off for attention. I'm sure he's got issues, but sheesh.

| "Mouse Hunt" (1997) in this slapstick comedy from Gore "Pirates of the Caribbean" Verbinski, a pair of quarreling brothers inherit a valuable old house - but before they can cash in they need to evict a particularly resilient rodent. Cartoonish "Home Alone" style destruction follows. My kids thought it was a hoot. _________________ "If you're a false, don't entry, because you'll be burned and died!"
