Cool. That's exactly what I would do.
Serenity and Firefly are excellent!!
They were pretty good - I watched them last year after SD kept raving about the show/movie

I watched "Ender's Game" last night and was really disappointed. Being I am usually one who goes into movies made from books I dig with low expectations, this was pretty weak.

The movie itself or how they adapted the book?
My "home sick" marathon continued yesterday by going back and re-watching the first 13 episodes of Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D.
Today might be a Buffy The Vampire Slayer marathon...just have to decide which season.

How did SHIELD hold up on a second viewing? I like the show, but I don't think it's found its footing yet....... I am guessing that season 2 will be much better, like Revolution Season 2 has been (100 times better).

I love season 5, but if I was ill, I'd watch the musical episode from season 6. Never fails to cheer me up.

I enjoyed it more watching the episodes back to back, that also made it obvious that is has been improving steadily throughout the season but that's hard to notice with a week (or 2 or 3) between episodes. It's not a great show, but it is a damn entertaining good show. I wish Joss could be more involved but his other duties at Marvel won't allow that. I'm not a hardcore comic book geek so I just judge it as a TV show.

I find that watching episodes of most TV shows back to back is more enjoyable particularly when there are recurring storyline threads (like Star Trek NG or Stargate SG-1) or even better, an overall story arc (like Babylon 5 or Odyssey 5).
For shows like the original Star Trek, MASH or Twilight Zone it generally doesn't matter (except for MASH writing characters in and out all the time).

Nebraska (2013)
Beautifully simple and realistic slice-of-life film, hilarious and poignant in equal measure. Bruce Dern delivers quite possibly the best performance of his career and he gets excellent support from Will Forte, June Squibb (wonderful comedic performance) and Stacy Keach. Love the stark B&W cinematography which perfectly captures the desolate landscape in that section of the country.

Our local critic raved on Nebraska.
But I'll always think of this when I hear the name Bruce Dern:

Season 5 it is, that's my overall favorite of the entire series anyway.

The adaptation was bad (IMHO) If I'd never read the book and judged the movie on it's own, it might get a C+

It's going to get more "geeky" in the second half of the season. ABC originally instructed the show runners that it had to be easily digestible by people unfamiliar with the Marvel comic universe, not too much mythology, keep it simple and episodic in nature. So under that directive that is what the producers delivered.
Then ABC realized that all they managed to do was irritate the very target audience they were going for so they have now instructed the producers to "make it more comic book". So I would expect it to get more hardcore "Marvel" in the second half.
