| My brother's friend pre-ordered several copies with the t-shirt. Strangely one copy and t-shirt arrived with a receipt that specified that the rest would "ship soon" or something along those lines. Maybe they got too small an initial pressing? | |

| Here's a direct quote from their Facebook page: "The new Antiseptic Bloodbath T shirts have been a huge hit. We are currently sold out of M, L, XL, and 2X. Getting ready to reorder to fill all back orders and new orders coming in."
I'd think they might have the CDs but they won't send them separately to those who ordered the CD/shirt combo, so they'll wait until they've gotten those shirts back in stock.
In your brother's friend's case I think they've thought that it's better to get those who've ordered only one copy of the CD and the t-shirt to have their copies and if ayone's ordered more, perhaps they can wait for the rest so that all who've ordered have at least that one copy and don't have to wait just because someone has ordered more than one. I don't know if that's the case but I assume it is.
I'm still liking the album a lot. It's still their best since Vanishing Lessons. It's quite surprising how muddy Where Moth and Rust Destroy and how thin Microscopic View sounds when listening to them after the new album. The only dragging part in the whole album is the last half of Carried Away on Uncertain Wings. The first half is killer.

| After hearing several times all the songs of this album, I cannot find this interesting.
And I feel like a traitor, because I loved their early albums. After Vanishing it has been a downfall.. and it seems they just don´t have it anymore. What that "it" is I can´t describe.. but there is something missing.
Their music is lacking emotion?

| Been through this a couple of times now and I have to say it is a very solid album. I think the best track is Feb by Ravens, Eaten by Vultures. There are 2 pretty filler of time songs but the rest is enjoyable. _________________ | |

| It's good, some filler like you said and I could do without Luke's helium induced, hamster parts but overall I like it. | |

| I'm having a hard time getting into this one. There are no obvious hooks to the songs and the whole thing is very technical and "progressive". I'm sure I will give it plenty more spin time. It's obvious that Ted Kirkpatrick wrote all these songs. They are very drum driven and drum based. _________________ ULTIMATUM - TOO METAL FOR WIKIPEDIA!

Agreed. This band has had a lot of trouble over the years creating good, sensible arrangements. And why do their songs have to be so long? They don't deserve the runtimes they are given. To me, their music is a scatterbrained mess most of the time. But they have certain ways that they excel (drumming, lyrics).

| This is the first Tourniquet album that I'm going to pass on. They just don't interest me at all anymore. Barring a classic lineup reunion, I won't be buying any more albums. | |

I like the unpredicatbility of the music. So many bands do paint by number songs that is it is nice to hear something that isnt. Having said that, they do sometimes go overboard _________________

I'm on the fence with this one. The last Tourniquet album I really loved was Microscopic. While Moth and Rust wasn't bad, Ult's description of the new one fits my opinion of it. Just too much good stuff this year. In a year with less stellar releases, I would go out of my way to get this one, but I'm just not sure.

| I am in the minority when it comes to this band. I absolutely love the new album, and by far prefer Luke Easter over Guy Ritter. Can`t listen to those early albums, Guy Ritter`s voice is like torture to my ears. I find their music interesting, though a bit over the top at times. And the albums are typical growers that needs some spins to get into. They are IMO, by miles and miles the best christian metal band around! | |

Exactly. Since Gary and Victor left, it's really become Tedniquet. That's not necessarily a bad thing, but I think that's why the last couple albums sound samey. I like Antiseptic Bloodbath pretty well. It's ok. I was blown away by MVTR so this new album is a bit of a let down from that stand point. My favorite TQT album is Pathogenic. That album is their masterwork IMO.

| People over at the CMR are tearing this CD a new one. I'm pretty surprised as usually the CMR regulars LOVE anything Tourniquet puts out. Personally, I like the new CD. _________________ ULTIMATUM - TOO METAL FOR WIKIPEDIA!

that is different. I dont know if the album deserves to be trashed but I do think the songs need to be shorter. _________________

The first thread for AB over there was pretty much all love. I guess it's now the other side's turn...

| well, what I have heard was surprisingly good, and most of my TQT listening centers on 'Psychosurgery'. Wonder what they said about Believer's 'Transhuman'... which was like a top 3 record for me last year. | |

I dont think they liked it very much either. I think the Tourniquet suffers from being too long of a listen. I know its difficult to be all tempo changey in shorter songs but they need to re-think the length. _________________

| I like the new album. It's definitely Tourniquet. Not an album that grabs you right away though. Wish there were some more consistent melodies on the album. The musicianship is top notch as always. | |
