I enjoy some SCC albums too. I am also a Third Day fan - great southern rock.

Third Day is not something I listen to all the time but when I'm in certain moods they're perfect. I own all but one or two of their albums.

I really like Garth Brooks. I don't care for current country with one exception. I love Brad Paisley.

I've never even heard of that one. I think the only major studio album I'm missing is Offerings II. I think my favorites are Conspiracy no. 5, Time, and Wire. I've always had a soft spot for Wherever You Are, as well.

I HATE "Grease"! When I was a kid, my sister would watch that over and over again. Also Dirty Dancing. Often during my G.I. Joe time. Of course I've always hated musicals so that's another reason for my distaste.

The only thing worse than "Grease" was... "Grease 2."
Thankfully, this monstrosity crashed and burned so badly that Hollywood swore off of making musicals for nearly 20 years afterwards.

Sadly, that movie actually as a cult following......... granted, it's an extremely small cult following, but it does have one

This whole album, total unashamed 60's influenced pop fluff!
I can't say that I feel very guilty about it though

Love LRB! LRB and Seals & Crofts for soft rock for me. I like Gino Vanelli, too! He writes really killer jazz fusion jams along with those pop hits.
James, you should check out that Afro funk stuff(a lot of it is from the 70s and earlier), it jams pretty good.

I like all sub-genres of metal so there is no real guilty pleasure there except maybe Poison and Freedom Call but that's not so shocking really...
As far as a real guilty pleasure that is very left field for my tastes ... Grandmaster Flash & The Furious Five - The Message
I am not that much into hip-hop outside of more popular stuff like Run DMC and Beastie Boys but I really like The Message. Really it could have been written as a metal or hard rock song instead of a hip-hop song and it would still work just as well.
Other guilty pleasures ... I like Abba and Michael Jackson.
A more recent guilty pleasure is Eddy Grant, which I think is highly overlooked these days. That's some good mix of reggae / bluesy-rock / rnb stuff...

Eddy Grant is awesome. Such a shame he fell into the reggae trap of being a one hit wonder who got looked at as nothing more than a novelty act. He really expanded the genre and the whole albums are strong. Funny aside, I've had no less than probably six separate denizens of LA's westside explain to me that Electric Avenue was inspired by the one in Venice Beach. No idea where that myth started. Never had the heart to tell them the truth.
I've recently re-discovered my love of early Madonna. Right up to Like A Prayer.

I saw LRB live when I was in college. They were absolutely flawless; all the harmonies were spot on (of course, they could have been using a soundtrack for all I know).

Nothing is a guilty pleasure nowadays but 1988 was a different matter and as a 17 year old Thrash Metal/Hardcore Punk nutcase, I really didn't tell many people that this was a regular on my turntable in between Sodom and Cryptic Slaughter!!
Funny thing is that this is now much more in-keeping with my tastes than Thrash Metal. Beautiful song!

I LOVE All About Eve! Her voice just makes me melt and the music is so beautiful. I have all but one album, mainly because it is a ridiculously pricey album:
