Oh please forgive, I meant the cover of dance of death really. But I guess I like the new artwork better than both. It looks better on a shirt too. Maybe it's a girl thing?

Actually, the songs are stronger on this release than they were on the last couple of albums. The songs flow well so it doesn't seem like the songs are so epic.

I'm still not overly thrilled by Shirley's production, though it's an improvement over the last album.

This album is freakin' AMAZING!!!!!!!!!! In my Maiden top 5!!!!!!!

I think I have a new favourite Irom Maiden album. I thought nothing could beat Powerslave or Seventh Son, but this album is no less of a masterpiece. I'll have to see if I feel the same about it in a few months time but I doubt my opinion will change much, if at all.

It looks like that is the way to go. I will be picking it up on my way home from work. I have a long commute so I can listen to it on the way home!

Yeah man!!!! Awesome album!!!! Aside from Satellite 15......The Final Frontier (which is basically two songs), the first 1/2 of the album is shorter songs. The last half is the long proggy pieces. I LOVE the middle part/instrumental breakdown of Isle Of Avalon!!!!

I think Satellite 15 is KILLER...it's the song The Final Frontier that bugs me...that great intro needs a more aggressive song to lead into...it's like great foreplay and then doesn't put out.

I've listened to it a few times now, still not going to make a final decision till later. There are a few songs I'm not crazy about, but for the most part it's a damn solid record.

My favorite tracks so far: Mother Of Mercy, Isle Of Avalon, Starblind, those songs are as good as anything from their late 80's progressive peak.
