Halford to release a new solo album.

Looked everywhere for this today, could not find....strange..

I bought mine from his website.

Amazon has it.

Best Buy has it, surprisingly.

it seems best buy is not consistent throughout the country then. Mine doesnt have it..

This new Christmas album Rob did is HORRIBLE! What is he thinking?

I wasn't crazy about this on the first couple of listens but now I must say it's growing on me...of course, other than the "Two" album I'm pretty much a Halford fanboy, I'd listen to that guy sing the phone book...

I even like Two.

It's pretty good industrial.

Then again - I'm a fan of industrial music.

I just ordered this today.

I didn't even bother looking for it in any stores, I just ordered it from Amazon. I needed to get the new VoiVod for my brother's Xmas present anyway so I threw Halford in with the order.

Sadly, that's what I've had to do for most of my new releases this year. Prices are pretty good online, but when I want it, I want it NOW. I try to avoid Amazon if possible though. In my experiences, they're really slow to ship.

That's funny. I find Amazon to be one of the fastest out there. I use them 90% of the time anymore. Maybe I live closer to them or something.

I picked it up today. I didn't think it was horrible for a Christmas album.

I looked for this one last night at FYE in the mall. Checked in the Rock/Pop, Heavy Metal and Christmas sections and came up with bupkiss. So I got the new Slayer instead.

With any luck, I'll find it cheap in the used bins after Christmas.

I was unaware of this till about five minutes ago, but the track "Winter Song" on Halford's holiday disc is actually a cover tune, from a songwriter named Sarah Bareilles.



Shore sounds purty, but I like Halford's take better.

I think his intention was good but the music isn't great.

I ended up finding the Halford cd in a different FYE, so I snagged it. I'm a big fan of metal/rock/non-traditional Christmas albums, so this one is right up my chimney. After only a few spins, the songs were stuck in my head, and not just the souped-up covers. Played it on the way into work this morning. No traffic on I-95, so the pedal was to the metal...

"GET INTO THE SPIRIT!!!!!!"

I still haven't seen it anywhere.
