I hope this album will be their best since Rust In Peace. I never cared much for CTE.

I hope it is at least as good as united abominations. that would do, for me.

I've been saying that from the get-go. And browsing my cd collection, I ran across this album from 2012...
Lesser known obviously, but still. Dave needs to dig a little deeper for his next album title.

I listened to Rust In Peace - first time ever - I first thought, how great if King Diamond sang - the lead guitar work is hot - song structures are great - If Metallica didn't exist, I wonder if Dave would have done so well ! By the way - the video is violent - for a cartoon - had to be, I guess. Like a comic book situation - Dave was always somewhat political - and it's cool to hear him now - saying it as it is -

Who knows, but I tend to think that Dave was destined for greatness whereas Metallica without him in the early days was three enthusiastic kids who probably would have gone nowhere.

I don't think anybody posted this yet, so here's the title track from the new album:

I disagree. Mustaine still has life left in him. He's still writing good tunes. Now if we were talking about Metallica I would agree with ya. Haha

I'm not hearing anything from this new album so far that tickles my fancy. Does sound better than the last album from what I've heard though.

Hope the one near me will be carrying it. I missed out on Motorhead's last release that way. It was supposed to be in stock and wasn't.
