Grethen Goes To Nebraska is the only King's X I own. I've heard other albums and just didn't care for them.

King's X is FINALLY putting out an official live DVD!!!

In October 2010 they are releasing Live Love In London (2CD/1DVD) from their most recent tour...presumably on Inside Out.

They have a DVD through their Molken Music imprint called Gretchen Goes To London (Astoria 5.6.90), (which is awesome) but it's more of a "hey we have this old footage, lets put it out" thing than something shot specifically for a DVD release...

Cool. I have a live album they put out a short while back, but no live DVD. That is good news.

Nice, Thanks Shawn. I have Gretchen Live in London is it fair. What I'd love to have is the 2 VHS from Atlantic put on DVD.

This was delayed for quite awhile, nice to know that it will see the light of day. I think it's going to be a great video.

It should be stated that the Gretchen Goes To London DVD was shot over 20 years ago with the standard production of the day...it wasn't shot with today's technology. It was, however, "sweetened" and all in the editing process...

That said, it certainly doesn't look or sound bad...multi-camera footage, nice editing and good audio.

The footage was recorded on 2 VHS Camcorders, the only source material they had was a 3rd generation VHS copy to master from. The audio was taken from a live radio broadcast of the show. It was then painstakingly assembled.

I just ordered Doug and Ty's demo collections. I also ordered Ty's new digital EP, and I must say it's pretty awesome. The instrumental tracks remind me a lot of Devin Townsend's solo stuff. Very cool. Too bad there's no physical version. =(

King's X - Live & Live Some More (have a boot of this radio show/concert in Dallas TX 1994, but this has been all beefed up and remastered w/ official artwork & liners added...worth every penny as its a great show!)
