The first two Hypocrisy albums are the best of their catalog. Third would be End Of Disclosure, although by that point they are a different band.

Hate to be the hater - but Alien Jorg has gotten better with age, imo. Psalm 69 was amazing - but every alum he has done has been better and better! And I don't even care for much, so-called, industrial.

He lost me after Psalm 69. There are tracks here and there but nothing I find nearly as compelling as the stretch from Land of Rape and Honey through Psalm 69

I think that's part of it.
I don't mind the "rage against the machine" motif but when everything is a screed on the same topic, I get bored.
I also don't like "in your face politics" for album after album after album; a song here and there or even a whole album, OK. But Al seems to have gotten so preoccupied with Bush and it just got old to me.
And I'd say the same thing if he was releasing album after album of Obama rants. I don't listen to music for a lesson in politics.

Not to mention that I think he gets so wrapped up in his emotions that he forgets what drew me to Ministry in the first place. Even though there was never a strong sense of melody, there was a sense of structure and dynamics; usually punctuated with some loops from movies or TV.
These days it's just all Al screaming at the top of his lungs.
