| Please use this thread to discuss your thought on how this place looks, how we run it, anything you want to change, etc. I changed the front page a bit. Divided it more into sections and stuff. Let me know how this is working for you all. _________________ | |

| The text box has some formatting issues on occasion, but other than that I couldn't ask for anything more. |

That's basically my only issue here, the formatting goes all wonky from time to time. And many people don't even correct it! Otherwise... EDIT: Ban mc666. |

EDIT: Ban mc666. Hmm, can't seem to have noticed that. The only incident I remember is when the whole forum, and all other forums on niceboard, were centered. That was cleared up pretty quick though. Here is an example of the formatting issue: https://heartofmetal.niceboard.com/Heart-Of-Metal-f1/Steel-Assassin-t2375.htmHe just highlighted and copied that from Sentinel Steel. You can copy images like that. It just doesn't translate well. It adds line breaks, font sizes, etc. Try typing something in Winword with line breaks/paragraphs and copying and pasting here. That also comes out all messed up. If you put the end quote tag right after a link it becomes part of the link, you have to add it to the line below. Little things, but when someone doesn't correct it, it looks like poop. Of course, I'm anal, so it's likely not an issue for everyone. |

Every time I've tried to copy/paste a news item here from Blabbermouth or one of my own CD reviews (which are in a Word document on my home PC) it comes out looking all wacky. The typeface will be tiny, the copy will break in odd places, etc, etc. Sometimes it takes a while to fix it all so it looks presentable too! | |

| As most everyone is mentioning, formatting is a slight problem. I'm not a fan of the multi-quote feature here. I'm used to working with Invision boards, which are easier to work with once you've multi-quoted and are ready to reply. As for the Unsound Mind forum, this is just a minor quibble, but maybe break that down even further (TV, Movies, Sports, etc...)? But there may not be enough talk that would fall into those categories to support dividing it all up. | |

| I think upgrading to allow the YouTube BB code to work here would be cool. With a video right in the thread, people would likely be more inclined to watch them. |

| Now I understand the formatting issue. I've actually edited people posts to try to make them look better. But people here should try their best to edit any funky looking post though. I'll look into the BB code thingy. Not sure it's possible though. _________________ | |

| I like things just the way they are. If anything changes, I'm sure I will dislike it until I'm used to it, then will like it just fine. If I have a complaint, I will direct it to the wall next to me. | |

The YouTube thing is cool. Basically you just see the video window right in the thread itself, so you don't have to click a link that takes you to YouTube.com. In my years of reviewing, I learned that people are lazy even online. Haha. I used to put links to MP3sat the end of my reviews, all the reader had to do was click on it and they could hear a sample or full song. People liked that, because they didn't have to go to the bands page, find the audio section, etc. The YouTube thing is the same. And we all know it sucks when people ignore our threads. Haha. |

I'm just a creature of habit and a miserable crank. The moderators can do what they like with this board. It's cool and that's why I stick around. If something really tugs at my applesack, I'll just stop posting my retarded views and go back to boring the wife with my ramblings.

| It's one of the best boards around. One thing I don't like but then it's IMO. Some tend to get a little picky about how, what, and where the topics should go. But overall the board is good! Wargod48 | |
