I just got back from seeing the new X-men flic with the ol' lady. It has me jaded cause now after all these years everything came full circle. Way too late with that considering the age of certain people appearing in the franchise.
Question: What is going on in the preview thingy after the credits ? A Betty in a hooded cloak making pyramids tetris style ?
Thanks

I believe
Spoiler:
that is the set up for the next X-Men movie with Apocalypse as the villain (an ancient mutant who dates back to at least Egyptian times)

"The International" (2009) Globe trotting cloak and dagger stuff with Clive Owen as an Interpol agent investigating a major European bank that dabbles in illegal arms deals and assassinations. A technically well made flick with lots of purty Euro scenery and one EPIC shootout scene set at the Guggenheim Museum in New York but otherwise this one's a bit on the dry side.

Watched "Stripes" last night
cornier than I recall, but still chuckled here and there.

It's a "fun" movie. I used to laugh a lot harder at it. Same with Caddyshack. Times change and the juvenillism begins to appear.

When Dinosaurs Roamed America
DIscovery doc narrated by John Goodman (!). In the vein of Walking With Dinosaurs but the CGI isn't as elaborate. Still interesting though; velociraptors with feathers (!!)

I figured that when I saw it. I remember that villan from the X-Men cartoon when I was in High School and X-Men: Evolution in my early to mid 20s.
As for the movie, IMO the best of the series and I've liked them all. Even the oft slammed X-3.

Good film, pretty powerful stuff
I also watched Man of Steel but apart from the flying dildos scene, it bored me

Tried to watch some Red Dwarf but the internet connection is too weak. I can post here and look at pictures elsewhere but any videos i try playing keeps stalling.

Took my daughter to see Malificent yesterday. She loved it, I loved seeing it with her.
I also went and saw X-Men Days Of Future Past and honestly found it a bit dull. There is one truly great sequence featuring Quicksilver, but then he disappears for the rest of the film.
