Pink Floyd - The Final Cut (Great choice Manny!! I love this album!!)

If I was going to buy a Slayer album it would the punk covers one. That album is actually not too shabby.

Good call on Stiff Upper Lip, one of my favorites.

I'm a 'Risk' fan too, it sounds like it has more heart than most of the metal albums they did from that decade (and onward).

I like melodic metal and AOr so there's a lot most here aren't into except Shawn of Fire and a couple others so I rarely bring it up.
This year i'm really enjoying new stuff by Seventh Key and W.E.T. Also groups like Work of Art and Eclipse.

Glad to see all the love for "Risk", I have always liked it. In fact I listen to it more than I do Killing Is My Business, or So Far, So Good.... So What.

Most people seem to not like Set The World On Fire much compared to the rest of Annihilator's catalog, and a lot of fans find Obsessed By Cruelty to be Sodom's weakest effort(mainly due to the poor production).

I can't even take most of the reviews on Metal Archives seriously at all. The way the purists talk so much seems almost cult-like.

Some of they're reviews are OK, they at least aren't as terrible as some of the mainstream reviews i've read in EW or Rolling Stone.

Compared to what? Annihilator's first 3 releases are pretty much the only worthwhile albums from the band, aside from a few good songs scattered across their discography.

And, oh man... If one thing ticks me off, it's people who are turned off because an album doesn't feature a crystal-clear production. Maybe they're perusing the wrong genre of music.
