I don't think it's on Netflix or Hulu at the moment, you might want to check out the HBO website. There are 2 seasons so far.
A show that both of you should look into would be "House of Cards" (Netflix is the distributor). It's F*cking brilliant! I watched all 13 episodes in about three days about two months ago. I can't give it enough praise. Two great established vets in that of Kevin Spacey and Robin Wright, a really good young actress in Kate Mara, and a ton of new hidden talent, who I'm thinking will be getting recognition for years to come. That's a good idea. I started the first two episodes when it came out and liked what I saw.

I'm going to catch up on this one but I'm still hung up on the original English version which was brilliant! Ian Richardson's Francis Urquhart was a great mix of charming, sinister and Machiavellian it was just perfect. Spacey had a slightly different take on the character, but I'm sure that I'll enjoy it. If you get the chance you should see the original, it's on YouTube I think and it's awesome.

| NLCS Game 2
Wow! 22-year old Michael Wacha outduelled the probable NL Cy Young Award winner as the Cards moved out to a 2-0 lead in the series with a 1-0 victory today. _________________ "The cat is the most ruthless, most terrifying of animals." - Spock in the "Catspaw" episode of ToS Season 2.

| Glee. I swore never to watch this show again, but I had to see how they handled Cory Monteith's death in this Finn tribute episode. Although it was done tastefully, it was entirely disjointed and unsatisfying (I highly enjoyed the first season of this show which was an entirely different beast from later seasons; none of the writing here reflected any organic connection to the original characters). I told my wife no more. Next week's ep is a Lady Gaga tribute guest starring Adam Lambert. But that's not mainly why I can't stand it. It has to be the top artificial show on network TV. | |

| Various Revolution, American Horror Story and Agents of Shield.
Nothing that has really grabbed me there although I'll plow through with AHS as it has been so good in other seasons

| Downton Abbey season four. It's good to be back.
Noticed something really cool, confirmed my suspicions online. For the upstairs sequences, static and dollied shots are employed, whereas downstairs shots are handheld. That's intuitive cinematography.

I think that must be some kind of record It's cool; I'm American and I haven't seen [insert names of 5,000 national network/cable shows here]. I honestly thought it was just a SHW (Show For Women) when my wife started watching it, then got slapped in the face when I started it. Completely infectious show with a highly cinematic and photographic quality similar to Breaking Bad. The lighting and set work is just f*cking grand--very much Gordon Willis-esque. Best of all, the most engaging characters I've ever seen on TV. Okay, so Breaking Bad takes that role... Mind you, the show is manipulative to some degree and sentimental. But when art is sentimental with earnestness and not as an artificial, gratuitous display to push audience reaction, I'm cool with it.

I havent been keeping up as much as i should but I like the previous seasons. I do enjoy a lot of other British programming. _________________

| 28 Days Later Seen this one probably 5 times now, it continues to impress across multiple viewings. An "art-house horror film" that works beautifully. 28 Weeks Later Better than average sequel is more straight-ahead horror and less artsy, but still worthwhile. |
