| THIS is a tough one. Some points to take note of:
1. Criteria is basically who you enjoy(ed) the most. That's all.
2. I know there's a lot of names I left off but it only allows for 15 and I figured these were the most popular.
3. Notice I didn't include anyone who exclusively played an instrument. I believe a number of them do a more-than-adequate job as frontman (Lemmy, Mustaine, Wylde) but I wanted to focus on those not married to an instrument and are squarely dedicated to engaging a crowd (whilst singing of course).
I chose Ellsworth. More on that later.

| I'll flip a coin from the list between Roth and Plant
Notable mentions not listed are Steven Tyler, Mick Jagger, Paul Stanley, and Jim Dandy Mangrum _________________

| Well Roth was the man onstage and Plant was the man in the studio. The coin toss ended up with my choice being Plant. Phil Mogg is another great front man as well. _________________ | |

I concur with you and DH, I remember during their cover of the Stones, "it's only rock n roll" he'd say. "Why are you even here then, if you won't sing along ? It's not it's only Twisted f'n Sister and I like it" really kewl, it was in 82 when they opened for Blackfoot. Great show _________________

| I thought about Mogg, too.
I should mention that, as a younger member of the board, I've only seen these guys on a TV screen and not in the flesh...sadly. Of course, I've seen Roth at a first reunion show, but when these guys were in their prime it was a different matter.

| Holy shit I just realized I forgot Alice Cooper. Not cool.
EDIT: OK so a ton of names are flooding my mind like Sebastian Bach, Jim Morrison, Bon Scott, Paul Rodgers etc, so my apologies that they couldn't be included here. Also, I can't seem to edit the poll. Admin? Anyway, just use the 'other' choice and state your pick in your post.

| I didn't even have to read the entire list; I stopped at Freddie Mercury. That guy could sing the phone book and I'd still listen to it. _________________ "The cat is the most ruthless, most terrifying of animals." - Spock in the "Catspaw" episode of ToS Season 2.

| Surprisingly, I've only seen Bruce Dickinson from that list. For my money, though, Paul Stanley was the best Ive seen. | |

| You know who's not on that list that I also think is one of the best all-time frontmen?
Mick Jagger. Even now at his advanced age, the guy still runs, jumps and climbs better than many other frontmen half his age. _________________ "The cat is the most ruthless, most terrifying of animals." - Spock in the "Catspaw" episode of ToS Season 2.

| No one will agree with me, but I'm saying John schlitt. I've seen him live several times and he's incredible. I could've easily gone with several of the names on the list, though. | |
