I enjoyed the first one well enough. Good trashy fun. But it's no Hobo With A Shotgun. I'd be really revved for a sequel to that!
And if that's a gun brassiere they're ripping off numerous Japanese flicks. On second thought, in the Japanese movies the guns are actually in the boobs.
It's admittedly not a very original idea.

Fringe, S2 E12. VERY enjoyable at this point, and I've begun to realize just how old-fashioned it is. At first I was thinking X Files, but that was a unique show of its kind, with that cold, measured atmosphere that carried so much tension. Fringe is rather like Twilight Zone and Outer Limits with a heavy scientific bend, so it's right up my alley.
Except I can't fight that curiosity as to why Walter's name is repeated so much.

I kind of thought that the first season was going for an X files type vibe, but I think that it moved further and further away from that the more the show found it's own feet.

I caught this interesting doc mid-way through on cable last night. I'm hoping to catch it in full over the weekend. Some cool iconic stuff.

Pirates vs Angels. Nice to get the win and even doubly so with both the Cards and Reds losing.

Stoker (2013)
Highly stylized effort from the director of Oldboy. The plot is well worn (borrowing liberally from Hitchcock's Shadow Of A Doubt...there is even a character named Uncle Charlie) but the completely off-kilter approach does a good job of distracting you from that. Mia Wasikowska is someone to watch.

'This Is The End'. Great concept, great flow, great lines, totally dies at the end. Still worth watching considering how much I hate "Seth Rogan movies".

I thought it was hilarious. I didn't mind the ending, of course it's completely over-the-top goofy but in the grand scheme of things so is the entire film.
Would play well with Rapture-Palooza (also starring Craig Robinson) in a double feature.

Typical Pixar - Great! I liked it.
Also watched: That Metal Show - good to see Jake E Lee back in action. Nice to see him and Eddie talk about the fact that Jake wrote all the songs on Bark at The Moon yet the credits read "Ozzy Osbourne"

"Axe Giant: The Wrath of Paul Bunyan" (2013)
A group of "first offenders" serving time at a Pacific Northwest boot camp accidentally disturb the resting place of the legendary Babe, the Big Blue Ox... causing the mythical giant lumberjack Paul Bunyan (who looks like Shrek on steroids) to hunt them down one by one with a big honkin' axe.
