Star Trek TNG - Season 2 disc 4
i have really enjoyed this series again. I just started season 6.
I bought the entire collection from a guy at work for $50. I'd always enjoyed the episodes I'd seen but it's interesting to watch the series from its beginnings in chronological order. EDIT: And Marina Sirtis is HOT! Reminds me of an ex but with bigger "endowments".

Lockup: MSNBC is a horrible news channel (as biased as they come) but this show is a crowning jewel from an otherwise worthless channel.

"Jennifer's Body" (2009)
Hipster high-school horror flick in which the school nerd (Amanda Seyfried) discovers that her lifelong best friend (Megan Fox) has been possessed by the demonic spirit of a Succubus and is feeding on their classmates. Hilarity, of course, ensues. Very tongue-in cheek stuff ala "Buffy the Vampire Slayer," with very funny dialogue and of course, plenty of eye candy courtesy of Ms. Fox. Worth a look.

Very funny, especially in the unrated edition. Amanda Seyfried is infinitely hotter than Megan Fox though. They try to make her look plain in this film but don't really succeed.

Of course not, but in interviews and such they are both as dumb as a stump. But you're right, they could just be acting like empty-headed twats because that is a great public persona to create. Thanks for giving me that new perspective.

Dracula 3000 - spacefayers discover a derelict ship adrift and decide to salvage the hulk.Needless to say from the title,it has undead cargo. Very stupid movie-avoid at all costs (warning sign should have been including Coolio in the cast;although Erika Eleniak is amongst the cast was well ad still looks pretty good)
followed it up with the classic Frankenstein Meets The Wolfman. It made the evening much more enjoyable.

"The Omega Man" (1971)
Second film adaptation of Richard Matheson's I Am Legend (It was previously filmed as Last Man on Earth with Vincent Price in the 60s, and again as I Am Legend with Will Smith in the '00s) stars Charlton Heston as Robert Neville, government scientist and survivor of a bacterial plague that has reduced much of humanity to a nightstalking horde of barbarians. Eventually he meets others who are immune to the plague and with their help, develops a cure for the condition, but the problem is that the "infected" may not want to be cured after all...
This flick was apparently a pretty big hit in its day (and it was also controversial at the time due to an interracial love scene between Heston and leading lady Rosalind Cash) but its '70s goofiness dates it pretty badly now. The over-the-top performances by Heston and Anthony Zerbe (as "Matthias," leader of the barbarian cult) in particular are pure ham. Stick with the Vincent Price or Will Smith versions.

The Vincent Price version is the only one worth watching. The Will Smith version "could" have been good if they hadn't gone with the horrid CGI bad guys...which were totally unnecessary and would have been much more convincing with good old-fashioned makeup and prosthetics.
There still hasn't been a decent adaptation of Matheson's brilliant original story though.

At the regular theater:
At the bargain cinema:
The mark of a great animated movie for me, is the ability to see it again with out a diminishing return of enjoyment. Still the best animated movie of 2012 IMO.

Though I'll agree with you on the Smith version, I love Heston's version. It's probably nostalgia for me since that's the one I first saw as a kid, but there's just something about that film that makes me never tire of it. The Price version is of course the top of the ladder though. Heck, anything with Vincent Price in it is worth watching in my opinion. Just a truly great actor that can turn any part,no matter how cheesy, into something speectacular.

^^ Yeah, I love the Vincent Price version too. This was the first time I'd seen the Heston flick and I kinda knew it was gonna be cornball before I even pressed "play" cuz to be honest, I find Heston pretty cornball all around.
I don't mind the Will Smith "I Am Legend" though, that was a decent flick.

I don't really mind it all that much. It could have been better but it just suffered too much from "modern Hollywood-ism",for lack of a better term. Out of the three flicks, it's the least of them, I think.

Actually, the least of them would be The Asylum's "I Am Legend" rip-off, "I Am Omega," starring Mark Dacascos of "Iron Chef America" fame. It actually makes the Will Smith version look good.
