God Bless Ozzy Osbourne
Pretty shockingly honest documentary done by his son. They don't sugar-coat anything (bad father, trying to kill Sharon, all his substance issues). Cool concert footage too. Could've done less with the endless photos of Ozzy and his nether regions. And the ending with Ozzy looking around, closing his dressing room door, and then getting on the floor to pray was kind of a cool coda to the whole thing.

"Ghost Town" (2008)
Bland comedy with Ricky Gervais as an anti-social New York dentist who suddenly gains the ability to see and talk to ghosts after a mishap during surgery. One particularly persistent ghost (Greg Kinnear) needs Gervais' help to tie up a few loose ends with his wife (Tea Leoni) before he can "move on."
This flick started off promising but quickly fell into dull, predictable rom-com formula, with laughs few and far between. Skip it.

"Ed Wood" (1994)
Tim Burton's bio-pic of the legendary 50s schlock-film director stars Johnny Depp as Ed Wood, a Hollywood wanna-be with a penchant for cross-dressing who strikes up a friendship with the has-been horror star Bela Lugosi (Martin Landau) and eventually manages to capture the title of Worst Director of All Time.
Filmed in glorious black & white and featuring great performances by all involved (even Depp, who I usually find irritating), this is an entertaining look at the odd life of the man behind "Glen or Glenda," "Plan 9 From Outer Space" and "Bride of the Monster."
One of my favorites. I think this movie was one of the first I purchased in that new-fangled DVD format all the kids were talking about.

Today I watched the most irritating episode of Star Trek TNG that I've ever seen. It features a mediator who's trying to settle a dispute between warring races on the same planet. The irritating part is that he travels around with the space equivalent of a Greek chorus who give voice to his thoughts because....wait for it....
He's deaf!!!!
DEAF!!!! Funny, his chorus responds to everything anyone says to him. He's MUTE you morons!!!! Good thing I was watching it on my eliptical because I wanted to throw something at the TV.

There's just so much in there; plus it makes more sense every time I see it.

Pretty good, but I'd LOVE to see a modern comedy movie that doesn't include the word "C0CK" in any of the dialogue. Unfortunately this one took all the easy shots it could at toilet humor, but underneath that there were some genuinely amusing parts.
Very good movie. Yara Shahidi is an absolute doll. Olivia Wilde is an absolute knockout.
