| Images and Words is a classic album - it's just so well done. That being said, Awake is my favorite album overall - DT really took it up a notch with that one. Train of Thought is my favorite in terms of heaviness, I mean it rocks hard. They just make great albums. Falling into Infinity is probably my least favorite album of theirs. Hey their bootleg of Metallica's Master of Puppets is good stuff as well. The music shreds, but LaBrie's voice can't match the style that Hetfield achieves. Naturally they are 2 different types of vocalists. Anyway, Awake is my choice. DT rule. | |

- As for my opinion, the last REALLY good album, IMO, was 'Falling Into Infinity'.
That is very interesting since my experience has told me most people either don't like or downright hate that album (which I never understood too well because, although not my favorite, I still like it). - Quote :
- The new album doesnt work with me at all.
I had that trouble the first couple of listens but it has grown on me (something no DT album has ever had to do with me before). Now, while it is not something I listen to regularly, I still like it enough (especially the songs In the Presence of Enemies, Pt. 1 & 2 and my favorite from that, Ministry of Lost Souls). | |
