Dream Theater Live

On Saturday 9th June, I had my first experience of the mighty Dream Theater live, and i must admit it was the best gig i have ever witnessed.

Every one of the musician were on top form, and the set list was awesome:

Witnessing the whole Images and Words album was just amazing

Has anyone else seen Dream Theater on this tour, and what did they think... ?

I take it you saw them at Download? I would have loved to see them, DT seem like they'd be a great band live.

Wow. You lucky man. Dream Theater didn't even seem to consider coming to Wales, pffft.

i saw them at download festival. they only played six songs but they wee the best band of the weekend and even blew iron maiden away for me. when the intro to pull me under started up the crowds went up. it was the most amazing 50 minutes ever. and kerrang gave them three out of five for their perormance!

I have a bootleg of the first show of this tour, and they did the whole Images and Words, with Home and As I Am as the encores.

I was thinking of going to this tour, but I don't really want to hear Images and Words take up the majority of the setlist. I like the album, but I prefer their later stuff, and mix of all the albums.
