Unfortunately the bad songs outweigh the good ones though. If I were to pull just the songs you mentioned, yea, it would be good disc. But as it stands now, I can't sit through the whole thing without hitting the skip button. It's the weak link in the 4 disc set. _________________ I used to be with it, but then they changed what "it" was. | Gene Simmons is at it again. From sleazeroxx: - Quote :
- Glam rockers Kiss are taking credit for Lady Gaga's outrageous style, branding the Poker Face hit-maker a "female version" of their band.
The Detroit Rock City hit-makers admit they'd love to enlist Gaga as the fifth member of the group, insisting they inspired the 24 year old's flamboyant persona and stage costumes.
Gene Simmons says, "She's not Lady Gaga, she's really Lady Kiss. I love the vibe, the big mouth and the big visuals. She's the most exciting thing to happen since us. She's a female version of us. One of the first things we learned was to treat the audience as the guv'nor (boss). When they buy a ticket they become your boss. We just work here. She realizes that her fans deserve the best you got because they pay your wages."

| Gene is delusional as usual. Lady Gaga ripped off her look from Dale Bozzio of Missing Persons, not from KISS. _________________ "If you're a false, don't entry, because you'll be burned and died!"

| And the whole "aesthetic concept" behind Lady Gaga is pretty much as pretentious as your average Frenchie. I think early 1980s NWoBHM bands like Cloven Hoof and Hell had much more in common with KISS (aesthetically speaking) than Lady Gaga will ever have. | |

| Supposedly tickets go on sale June 4, but I imagine that's just for the earlier shows. I can probably swing getting tickets on the 4th, but I'd rather have a bit more money in my account before I do so (this coming Wednesday's paycheck mostly belongs to rent!). | |

[url=http://eventful.com/competitions/kiss2010/register http://eventful.com/competitions/kiss2010/register[/quote[/url]] Does it state anywhere in the official rules that Gene owns your band name, song rights and girlfriends after your performance? _________________ I used to be with it, but then they changed what "it" was. | In the now long list of rocker's writing their autobiograhies, add one more to the list: Original KISS guitarist Ace Frehley has signed a deal with Gallery Books, a subsidiary of Simon & Schuster, to release "No Regrets," a look back at his "life of sex, drugs, and rock-and-roll." Gallery plans to release the title under the VH1 Books imprint in the summer of 2011. Commented Frehley: "I think Sinatra said it best… 'Regrets I've had a few, but then again, too few to mention.'" Jennifer Bergstrom, Vice President, Editor-in-Chief of Gallery Books, said "'No Regrets' is sure to be the next must-read rock-and-roll memoir." One of the most popular rock guitarists of the 1970s, Frehley became an inspiration to a generation of guitarists with his lead-guitar prowess and atmospheric Les Paul sound. Ace Frehley performed with KISS from its inception in 1973 until his first departure in 1982 before rejoining KISS in 1996 for a very successful reunion tour. Frehley's second stint lasted until 2002 as Ace went back to being a solo artist again, but the stories and memories still remain from touring in one of rock and roll's most successful acts of all time. One the red carpet just before his performance with Slash at the at the sixth annual MusiCares MAP Fund benefit concert on May 7 at Club Nokia in Los Angeles, Ace Frehley talked about putting his memoir together and how he got help remembering some of his old stories that he might have forgotten. "It's gonna be memoirs, you know," he told the Artisan News Service. "I just turned 59, [so] I think it's about time I start getting the stuff out and writing it down on paper before I forget it. It's hard for me to remember a lot of the stuff, so what I've been doing is getting together with people I used to work with, and they usually have better memories of situations than myself. Getting together with old bodyguards... They have the best stories about me... stuff I don't remember." | |
