i'd only do it if i could get Toho. i'd hook him up with all sorts of pig squeals, frog croaks, monkey screeches, & garbage disposal grinds. that just describes the vocals. the music would be even more inhuman.

I am not on here very often but I would be interested in doing this (I do the same sort of thing with a buddy of mine).
Are there guidlines?
--just songs we like?
--songs/bands we don't think are widely known about?
--just newer releases?

There are no guidelines just whatever you want to do basically. I listen to a lot of different types of music, nothing out of the ordinary but stuff some people might not normally listen to here or even think of listening to. So I just try to do a little bit of everything. The whole point is to hopefully turn new music and bands onto other people. So if you get paired up with Toho, even though MC has a comp ready and waiting for him, you could put tons of Journey songs on it . Really though just do whatever you want and have fun with it. Once you receive your cds and listen to them there will be a section for a review on what you got.

i think we swapped last year but that doesnt mean we cannot do it again.

I don't think he ever has. Apart from claiming not to like people, he feels not enough people here shares his taste in music.

CDR. Whatever you have your songs on is fine just as long as they don't sound like crap . When everyone is teamed up you can talk to the other person to find out how many cds to make and what you like and don't like. You never know though. You might think you don't like Power Metal but there might be that one band you do end up liking, thats why I like doing these. I used to be all for power metal when I first came here then I started getting into all things.
