1988 THRASH METAL! Mosh it Up!

I honestly expected there to be one vote for VR...mine. Surprised to see four votes.

I don't really consider it a thrash album, but voted Dimension Hatross anyways. Realm's Endless War is my favorite 1988 thrash album.

I could have went with Coroner, Vio-lence, Testament, or Forbidden. But my vote goes to Slayer!

Here's another vote for Vengeance Rising! My first exposure to music that could be considered "extreme". Still love it

Slayer.

have you listened to any of the John Bush material? it's not thrash, but it's some of their best work imho.

I voted for South Of Heaven, still one of my favorite thrash albums. Survive, Out Of The Dark and Punishment For Decadence are real close behind.

I was gonna vote AJFA until I saw Human Sacrifice was on the list.

Had to go with Metallica (AJFA). The songs have held up well.

Yep. I've noticed that album hasn't dated at all, sounds just as exciting now as it did when I first heard it.
