No, it's not, but it fits in better here than with the heavy metal bands in the other thread. I always thought of Napalm Death as the fathers of "grindcore" . _________________ ULTIMATUM - TOO METAL FOR WIKIPEDIA!

| It was a toss-up for me between Overkill - Taking Over and Anthrax - Among the Living. Both those albums were constant players for me that year. I went with Taking Over at the flip of a coin. _________________ ULTIMATUM - TOO METAL FOR WIKIPEDIA!

| For me, it came down to TERRIBLE CERTAINTY and THE LEGACY. Both of these are my favorites by these bands. Kreator by a coin flip. | |

| Anthrax-Among The Living. Even if I had more than 4 of those because it is one of my all time favorite thrash albums. | |

| Napalm Death's "Scum" made the "Thrash List", but Sodom's "Persecution Mania" didn't? Odd. In any event, it's between AMONG THE LIVING and THE LEGACY as far as I'm concerned. Hmmm... | |

Odd.

Hmmm...
It comes down to the fact that I thought "Scum" was a monumental album that would get some votes, while I didn't think Sodom would get enough votes to warrant inclusion. I had to cut the list down to only 15 candidates and that was difficult. _________________ ULTIMATUM - TOO METAL FOR WIKIPEDIA!

| I like alot of stuff in the poll and more stuff that is not. Scum deserves inclusion "someplace" as far as it's merit for a "best of 87" and from the poll... ...I vote for Sacred Reich. I have always dug their style. _________________ | |

...I vote for Sacred Reich. I have always dug their style. Yes, as we get closer to the 90's, the genre nazi wars really begin to kick in. I just figured "Scum" fit in better with the thrashers than with the more traditional heavy metal and hard rock bands of the 80's. _________________ ULTIMATUM - TOO METAL FOR WIKIPEDIA!
