| Arrrrgh! (tears out hair) Though I love a lotta the stuff on that list, there was a period in my life where I probably listened to Crimson Glory's TRANSCENDENCE more than everything else up there put together. So I vote for that. 1988 was an amazing, amazing year. Not just for metal but for life in general at that time. I graduated from high school and began college, the world was my oyster. ...now I'm old and cranky and I look back at how stupid I was about certain things and I wish I could just reach back in time and smack myself. _________________ "If you're a false, don't entry, because you'll be burned and died!"

| From the voteable choices, I went with Queensryche. Mindcrime was my intro to the band and a longtime fav. However if GnR's Lies made the cut, that woulda got my fan-boy vote. Lotsa good choices though. _________________ I used to be with it, but then they changed what "it" was. Now what I'm with isn't it, and what's it seems weird and scary to me, and it'll happen to you, too.

| Went with the 'ryche with Maiden breathing down their neck. Man, that was a great year. Not sure if Cinderella wouldn't have gotten the vote if they were on it. |

| HOLY CRAP! I don't think I've ever been so stressed in my life. This is horrible The obvious choice for me would have been Helloween...BUT!, I'm actually not going that route. I picked Queensryche- Operation Mindcrime. I was into Queensryche way before I even knew about Helloween and I played Operation Mindcrime almost every day when I bought it. My other choice would have been Crimson Glory. That was tough... _________________ | |

| O:M is the one album from that poll I don't care as much about. If I were to put all 15 in a list from favorite to least favorite, O:M would be at the bottom of the list. Not sure why, but I never could get into it like I did their EP, Warning and Rage. I thought it was weak in comparison. I don't hate it, and have grown to appreciate it over the years, but it's not a favorite. _________________ ULTIMATUM - TOO METAL FOR WIKIPEDIA!

I can see that if you compare it to those albums. _________________ | |
