It pissed Therapy? fans off. Haha. It's nothing like the original, of course, so they couldn't handle it. It's actually not the greatest cover, but it's still pretty awesome that she covered them. It's on Songs Of Love And Death, an album of covers of contemporary and traditional Irish artists/songs.
I'll seek it out tomorrow, I'd like to hear it. I can't stand fans who get up in arms about cover versions, I just don't understand the logic (shameless but relevant plug).

Ahh, that's a great cover. Prefer Cooke's original, but this works well. I had to review that album a few months back, it's good fun even if it is jarring hearing the Elvenking singer trying to singing sleazy material.
I've never heard Lizzy's version to compare it too, but I do love Gothic Slam's version.

Much like King's X, Thin Lizzy is a band that I just don't get all the whoop-dee-do over. I know it's blasphemy to say that 'round here, but I'm just not much of a fan. The Dedication album and Live & Dangerous is all I'll ever need.

Interesting take on a Soundgarden classic from a 70's Tiger Beat pin-up

What 11 yr olds are covering bands like the Four Horsemen? "Rockin Is Ma Business", my favorite, of course I'm baised. Youngest band to ever play the Whisky A Go Go.

You know what is REALLY funny? These jokers are actually turning people off this "band"!!! I thought the reason for plugging something was to get people turned on to something!!

NAMBLA also fully supports them. But they still suck. No pun intended.
