Agreed. Megadeth is another band that I've always enjoyed all of the covers they've done.

Heres another cool cover that came up on my ipod the other day. I found out about this band STEEL TRAIN on the Conan Obrien show. The day before his debut on TBS he did a show on the internet that was a joke. He had these guests on and he would literaly say who it was they would sit down and then they would leave. When it was time for the band to come on it was these guys. They played the first note of one of their songs and that was it. Afterwards Conan actually played a piece of the song and I liked it and liked the bands since. They aren't metal but they are a really good alternative band from NJ.
Obviously not metal but I have liked this band at some point. Can't really say I like them all that much anymore but still I thought this was a good cover song.

Dude, Lemonade and Brownies is one of my all-time favorites. It's awesome! Sadly, Sugar Ray are one of the few bands I would call sellouts. After they blew up from "Fly," that's all they did for the rest of their time as a band—poppy acousticy songs. Blah! But that debut, and a good portion of Floored, kicked ass.
Ever heard the Green Machine promo EP? There are three covers on it, two Black Flag covers—"Wasted" and "White Minority"—and one Nugent cover—"Wango Tango." That's where they came from. Then they went and sold out.
I'm sure most of you don't listen to Witchery, so check this out:

I inherited 2 Sugar Rays cds from my wife's paltry collcetion when we got married. Turns out I kinda enjoyed them. Fun summer music. Their cover of Adam Ant's 'Stand & Deliver' is good too. Anyway...
Not a popular cat 'round these parts but I like how he turned this song inside out and upside down. Never cared for the original either.
Rob does some interesting covers too. Really makes them his own. One of my favoites though is this one:

Worked out for them, I guess. Haha.
Lemonade and Brownies is awesome. One of my all time favorites as well. I really liked how catchy their songs were then they really went to hell during and after floored. Floored had some ok songs on it but everything just seemed kind of sloppy and not put together, kind of like they were just piecing old songs together and tried to make songs out of it.
I never heard that EP and I wouldnt refuse hearing it either if you know what I mean
