Caught most of Apollo 13 on cable last night. What a great movie.

Even though it's based on a true story and having seen the move numerous times, I know the outcome. Yet everytime I watch it, I get knots in my stomach when they're in that radio black-out for 3 minutes and you don't know if they are gonna make it or not. That's good filmmaking.

All at the discount movie theater:

Avatar-great graphics and awesome action but the story is filled with not very subtle political messages and a plot recycled from Dances With Wolves, but an overall enjoyable movie.

The Crazies-enjoyed it quite a bit and was glad it wasn't as graphic as I thought it'd be but slasher fans will probably hate that fact.

Cop Out-funny as hell and I really liked it, not sure why it was so hated. Obviously not an oscar contender but enjoyable none the less.
