I remember watching that one in it's orignal airing. In the dark days before cable ( ), watching a week-long mini-series was quite an event. How does it hold up in 2009? Well of course a bit of the acting and special effects fall apart now....but I love the storytelling and characters and everything. You should give it another go again man. This is my first time watching it. My dad suggested it..haha.

| I loved "V" back in the day. Had both mini-series on tape, had a bunch of the comic books and paperback novels too. Great stuff. It's especially funny now to see Robert "Freddy Krueger" Englund as the soft-spoken, gentle alien "Willy."
I was stoked to find out there's going to be an "updated" version of "V" coming to ABC either late this year or early next... there's a trailer floating around on YouTube that I'm too lazy to go look for right now. I'm not sure if it'll just a mini-series or if it'll be a regular weekly series but the clips I saw from it look pretty killer. _________________ "If you're a false, don't entry, because you'll be burned and died!"

- Creepers (More widely known as Phenomena)
I just don't get into Argento flicks very much. That one's not bad though. That's the one with Donald Pleasance, the killer chimp and the girl who communicates with insects right?
BTW, I first heard of it as "Creepers"; that was the US title. Yeah thats it. And thats always how I knew it, but for the past 10 years or so since DVD's have been more common I hear it referred to as Phenomena more often then not. I generally like Argentos films, and this is one of my favorites. Im kinda surprised you dont like his stuff.

| G.I. Joe: Rise Of Cobra Great action scenes, decent CGI effects, good story. Unfortunatly, the acting was meh and the character developement could have been better. Entertaining, I want to see it again, and can't wait for the sequel so it got the job done. Comic book fans (I only watched the cartoon) will probably and do hate it because it changes origins around but comic book fans are never satisfied with movie adaptations anyways. | |

| High Anxiety Under-rated Mel Brooks comedy. I haven't seen this movie since I was a kid and there were plenty of jokes & refrences that I didn't get back then that had me laughing out loud Saturday night. Funny stuff. _________________ I used to be with it, but then they changed what "it" was. Now what I'm with isn't it, and what's it seems weird and scary to me, and it'll happen to you, too.

| "End of Days" -- totally outdated now due to its "The world will end at midnight on the eve of the Millennium" storyline but still one of Ah-nuld's better movies. Gabriel Byrne is an awesome Satan!!! _________________ "If you're a false, don't entry, because you'll be burned and died!"

Yeah, I quite enjoyed that one even if it is really depressing. _________________ "The cat is the most ruthless, most terrifying of animals." - Spock in the "Catspaw" episode of ToS Season 2.
