Finished watching "Logan's Run" last night - one of the better '70s sci-fi flicks. It's dated kinda badly now but still a fun ride.

Aliens In The Attic

"Meteor" - a late '70s disaster flick (with the customary all star cast that included Sean Connery, Brian Keith, Henry Fonda, Natalie Wood, and Martin Landau) in which a 5-mile wide hunk of asteroid is going to leave a very large skid mark on Earth unless the U.S. and the Russians can put aside their Cold War differences, work together, and use the combined power of their nuclear weapons satellites to blow the hell out of it.

Obviously the entire storyline is badly out of date now, but this was still fun to watch. The late '70s fashions are a scream of course, and we got some cool old-school mayhem and destruction from time to time as little splinters of the meteor hit Earth while the "big one" was still on its way.

I'll take this movie over the '90s version of the same story, Michael Bay's uber-retarded "Armageddon," any day.

The original theatrical cut, which I haven't seen in years. Still a so-so movie, but the amazing visuals of the Enterprise and the V'Ger cloud/spaceship are still very impressive in the pre-computer graphics world of 1979.

Horrible! I have a pretty good tolerance for crappy Zombie movies, but this looked like a class project. In fact, I'm pretty sure I could cobble together a better Zombie movie.
