New Mortification Album 2009 - Sound samples up now!

I don't believe Jayson wrote anything on Bloodworld, Primitive Rythum Machine or Envision, there were some good lyrics on those. I'd also like to know lyrical writting credits on the lp's Jayson was a part of.

Mick Carlysle wrote some good songs as well

Hello Mortification supporters and welcome to the most important Rowe

to hear the samples of two thirds of 2 brand new Mortification songs:

Production. The journey is well worth the effort and the wait for me as
much as anyone.
The "Mortification
Im-Mort-Alized Supporters" really came through and we achieved an
extrodinary number of Pre-Orders between March 1st and April 10th. The
hundreds of supporters who ordered within that timeframe will all be
listed on the main inside panel of the Digi Pak. I am so very Grateful
for your tremendous support of this Mission. So here we have it - the

The samples sound pretty cool. Typical Morty fare of the last few years. Steve's vocals are a little different this time around.

That was actually photoshopped on by ult. No one really listens to Ultimatum, do they?

Sounds like classic Mort. I like it! Steve's vocals sound deep.

Sounds like Morty to me. Seems people over at Firestream are diggin' the music but are saying the vocals sound "forced". Not really sure what that means.

The bass is loud like all modern Mort albums and it's a little on the simplistic side again but it doesn't sound bad. I'll most likely get a copy used.

I guess I forgot to use the word NO in the sentence. That was a good one

But my opinion is that mort should play more punk oriented or more power metal like Relentless, those are the 2 styles that fit the band on their modern sound. And this drummer was on those albums that I fell have been the best on recent years

Sounds like it was a do or die situation for Steve.

After hearing the sample again i'd say his vocals are a little "froggy" sounding. I wish they would just go and do a brutal old school album again and leave this mixed bag thing behind.

I received my preorder in the mail today. I saw ult's and Kurt's name along with my own in the "IMortalized" section. I haven't had time to listen to it though. Will report back later.

I"m waiting for mine - got shipped out this week though. Darn snail mail.

I'd say Post Momentary Affliction but Scrolls of the Megiloth is also killer.
