| I had a Ford Probe once and that so soured me on the company that I swore I'd never buy another Ford product. However, if Ms. Wagner is available as an additional option, I'd consider buying a Mercury. _________________ "The cat is the most ruthless, most terrifying of animals." - Spock in the "Catspaw" episode of ToS Season 2.

- BTW, it took me about 2/3 of the way into the movie to realize where I'd seen the lead actress before. As soon as I heard her voice, I knew I'd heard her before. She's the "Mercury Girl" in the TV commercials.
I KNEW I had seen her somewhere! I've been a big fan of those commercials since I first saw them...she's a babeosaurus. Definitely! I think if I'm not mistaken that she was also the female lead in the short-lived but pretty good Blade TV series.

| Just finished watching "Quarantine." Pretty cool zombie/disease movie, though the dreaded "You are there" handheld camera look became a little tiresome after a while. _________________ "If you're a false, don't entry, because you'll be burned and died!"

| Ive seen a few movies the last couple weeks. Wolverine- Stunk The Happening- Wasnt bad. Some of the acting was a bit awkward and the thing that was making people kill themselves was wierd but it was still interesting. The Promotion- Thought this was going to be pretty funny since I like John C Reilly but he does a lot of awkward movies and this is one of them. It wasnt laugh out loud funny but it had subtle funny. Pineapple Express- Seth Rogan is another guy I like but sometimes his movies are horrible and he seems to always play his characters the same way. This movie was very funny though and had a good story. I actually went and bought it this weekend because blockbuster had a 3 for $20 deal. Also picked up... Role Models- Really funny movie. Mclovin from Superbad is in this one and he was funny along with the other kid in the movie. The other kid made the movie because he was a little bad ass but I cant remember his name. Max Payne- I really liked the video games and the movie is pretty much the same atleast from what I remembered. Its been a while since Ive played that game, but for once it seemed like the movie stayed true to the game. I could be wrong though. _________________ | |

It was good, however I want to see the original version. It was a foreign film called [rec]. |

It was good, however I want to see the original version. It was a foreign film called [rec]. Yea, that was a Brazilian (?) film I think. The US re-do wasn't bad but I couldn't believe they used the very last scene in all the frickin' trailers!! I'm like "geez, if I'd known that was how it ended, I wouldn't have bothered." _________________ "If you're a false, don't entry, because you'll be burned and died!"

I'm like "geez, if I'd known that was how it ended, I wouldn't have bothered." Yeah, that was a major screw up by the studio to include that scene in the trailer. But regardless, it was alot better film than I had anticipated. I've been on a Winona Ryder kick for the last couple days: The Last Word (really liked this one...and she looks fantastic) The Darwin Awards (cute, not earth shattering, but entertaining) The Ten (pretty bad, but has a few decent scenes, including Winona humping a ventriloquist dummy) |

I think you will love it. There's a "making love" scene in it that the girls shouldn't see, but all around it kicked serious booty, IMO. |

| Rise Of The Lycans was well-made for the most part, but the pacing of the film bothered me. Just something didn't feel completely right. Also, I really think a different female lead would have worked better, Mitra just doesn't have much screen presence, with a more interesting actress I would have cared about the character more.
It also didn't help that once you get 3/4 of the way into the movie you're seeing stuff that you already witnessed via flashback in the earlier films...so you basically know what's going to happen. That might not bother some people, but it left me checking my watch to find out how much longer the movie was going to last. |

| Appaloosa - I like westerns and this one was good though everyone else I watched it with really seemed to hate it.
The Express - pretty decent football movie. About what I expected. The ending was really depressing. I had forgotten about that part of the story.

I'm tempted to make my next vehicle purchase a Ford just because they didn't accept the porkulus money. Saw Dr. Stragelove for the first time. Not sure what to think because it was quite out there but it did have very amusing parts. The best line has to be, "Gentlemen! You can't fight in the War Room!"

| I watched That Thing You Do! last night. Tom Hanks should direct more movies because this one is really good. Definitely among the better movies I've seen about the music industry. | |

The hand-held camera thing is the sole reason why I've staved off from this movie for so long. They had the same camera style in Cloverfield, and it was getting old fast.
