| "Prom Night III: The Last Kiss" (1989) Horror/comedy that's kinda like an "Elm Street" flick with an undead prom queen in place of Freddy Krueger. Started out goofy, got pretty good towards the middle, then got stupid again at the end. The girl who played "Mary Lou Maloney," the vengeful '50s prom queen from beyond the grave, was frickin hot though. _________________ "If you're a false, don't entry, because you'll be burned and died!"

Grocery store is correct but the price was $2.50 actually... and it's a double feature DVD with "Prom Night IV: Deliver Us From Evil" on the same disc. Wotta deal! _________________ "If you're a false, don't entry, because you'll be burned and died!"

There are actually a few of us Zooey fiends on this board...the girl haunts me. I try to block her out of my mind because I find myself comparing every pretty woman I see to her. I was doing pretty good til you guys just brought her up, thanks a lot!

| American Carol-not the best spoof ever made but it's good to see the Hollywood left get mocked for a change and it is better than any recent spoofs (after the crappy -fill in word here-Movie series, anything is an improvement, seems like David Zucker is the only one that should make these). Horton Hears A Who-the first time I saw it there were too much distractions (a bunch of rowdy kids at Christmas dinner made it hard to follow). Once again a family movie delivers the goods (there are some stinkers to be sure, but the majority turn out to be good IMO). | |

| Dr. Detroit [sentimental fav]
this week and last: The Wrestler - excellent!! It is hard to find much unique coming out of Hollylame, lately. But this is an exception. Very subtle plot, filmed as a third-person, and brutally graphic!!
Slumdog Millionaire - hands down the best film I have seen since Apocalyptico. Incorporates every emotion available. |

I would hate to be that guy who laughed through out the entire movie in theaters. I thought it was funny, but there are a lot of minorities where I live, so... I'm not racist though, I just thought it was a great movie!

| I saw a terrible movie paid $3 for it and it was so bad, it was called Roadie stars Meatloaf and features Alice Cooper looking more Karen Carpenter than Alice, how he got involved in this movie is beyond me, but he must of lost a bet, truly truly horrible. | |

| I just re-watched the remake of The Hills Have Eyes. I think this is one of those rare occasions where the remake outdoes the original. _________________ "The cat is the most ruthless, most terrifying of animals." - Spock in the "Catspaw" episode of ToS Season 2.

| I saw 'Doubt' last night. Quite a good film, although I personally thought the plot skipped a beat at one point. However, Meryl Streep delivered an amazing performance. _________________ | |

I agree. They should have called it "The Mediocre Four". The blind chick that Ben Grimm hooks up with is a great actress though!
