RUSH

I'm not familiar with that one, Spec... but I saw one a little while ago for "The Body Electric" that I don't think I's ever seen before either... now that was laughable. It looked like they were trying to do a big deep meaningful sci-fi spectacular on a Happy Meal budget.

I finally listened to " Hold your Fire" an album I causally dismissed as the worst Rush album, I still stand by what I stated that this is worst Rush album in their discography, but after listening to it yesterday I did enjoy the album and even when Rush aren't firing on all four cylinders these guys are incapable of making a bad album.

I've never seen The Body Electric, I gotta look that one up.

Told ya! It looks like a trailer for one of those awful B-grade sci-fi movies from the early 80s like "Metalstorm: The Destruction of Jared Syn" or "StarCrash." Love those ginchy laser effects!!!

Very true. Although when most of those videos were new, they were cutting edge as hell and we all tripped out on'em like 'Duuuuuude... this is so FUTURISTIC, maaaaaan!" -- now twenty years later we're like "Man, this is awful!"

True, but when I was 12 years old I thought the video for Subdivisions was AWESOME!

Rush's one decent music video is "Mystic Rhythms".

Geddy Lee is jewish (Weinreb). His parents met in a concentration camp in WW2. the song Red Sector A is about their time there..

I just got the Snakes & Arrows - Live 2 CD set...TRANSCENDENT! 2 1/2 hours of primo live Rush. Love the song selection as well...a live version of Entre Nous!!!!

I love the S/T, Fly By Night, 2112, and Moving Pictures. Truly one of the greatest rock bands.

I've always liked the video for 'countdown'. Too bad they don't play that tune live....

Just about all the vid's from 'Grace Under Pressure' have high cheese factor. 'Distant Early Warning' was ok as was 'After Image'.

I am listening to the final disc of the 3 disc Rush in Rio set. Frickin' awesome.

That's very interesting. Makes me look at the song in a whole different way.
