Cauldron (Pre-Iced Earth Barlow)

I downloaded this a few years ago. Figured I'd upload it and share:

CAULDRON - 1993 DEMO

It won't stay up long, so download it soon. It's a pretty sweet demo. Matt sounds a bit rougher than on Burnt Offerings, but still strong. You'll notice that "Entry Number 161914" has parts that were later used on Iced Earth's "Last December," which is cool.

So is this good? IS the sound quality good or is it muddy?

Interesting demo. It's 'Diary', not 'Last December' BTW, which sort of explains the name actually. Interesting how different it is musically, it seems a lot more classic thrash. In fact, the entire demo does, in some ways. Thanks again for this, Eyesore.

It's a cassette demo rip so it's not amazing quality. But it is good. Definitely worth downloading, for sure.

I downloaded this yesterday but haven't had a chance to give it a listen yet. Hope to get to it tonight sometime. Thanx again Eyesore.

Checkin' these tunes out now, Eyesore... sounds like pretty good stuff to me. Not very far removed from where I.E. were when Matt joined (BURNT OFFERINGS)

Useless Iced Earth family fact: Matt and Jon are brother-in-laws, as Matt is married to Jon's sister. (I think that's right).

Cool. I didn't have the "Burning Oasis" demo. I wish the rest of the songs from that demo were there, though.
